Susan Lee Isbell (Barr)

Susan Lee Isbell (Barr), 77, of Rhome, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026.

Born on Sept. 16, 1948, in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Leona Barr.

Susan’s life was defined by her immense love for her family. Her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. She was a woman who loved spreading joy to others, most notably through her tradition of dressing up as Mrs. Claus alongside her husband, Tony, as Santa. Together, they delighted children at local schools and daycares, bringing the magic of the holiday season to life.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Tony Isbell; her children, Sherri Edwards (Chris), Kim Montee, Ricki Constable (Joe) and Anitra Hayworth; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.
