Candace ‘Candy’ Van Dyne Radick

1946-2026

SALEM – At 6:48 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2026, Candace “Candy” Van Dyne Radick, 80, passed into any reward she has in Heaven- to be there forever with God the Father and Jesus His only Son.

Candace was born on Jan. 7, 1946, in Chester, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles and Deanna (Thompson) Van Dyne.

She leaves behind her much-loved children, Michelle (Gino) Touart, Tori Holtom, Kathy Jo Brown-Caputo, and Randy Brown; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jeanne Grace, Kathy Close, Mary Kinser, Joyce Spack, Alice Grubbs, Amy Cosma, and Harold Barnes Jr.

In addition to her parents, Candy was preceded in death by her husband, George Radick; son, Dale E. Brown Jr.; siblings, Gary Barnes and Bonnie Cairns; nephews; cousins; and her grandson, Christopher, who will be so happy to see her for the first time.

Being a private person, she requests no calling hours or service.

In lieu of gifts or flowers, Candy leaves us with, “I hope you will take time to share with your own family and friends, as my family have been with me and cared for me while I could enjoy them. My life was good and I hope if you knew me, I would have left a pleasant memory and a testimony of my faith in the salvation God has freely given to us all.”

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
