LEETONIA – Calvin C. Beck, age 85, of Leetonia, died on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, at his home in Leetonia.
He was born on Oct. 25, 1941, in Alliance, son of the late Jefferson and Betty Rodgers Beck.
Calvin worked as a welder for Butech, Salem and retired in April of 2008. He was a member of Ohltown United Methodist Church in the Austintown area. In his later years Calvin enjoyed puzzles and gardening.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Pamela Davis Beck, whom he married on Jan. 23, 1971; two sons, Brian (Stacey) Beck of Salem and Kevin (Alisa) Beck of Colorado; a daughter, Melissa Foster of Garfield Heights; a brother, Larry Beck of Alliance; a sister, Janet Vogus of Alliance; and five grandchildren, Andrew, Audrey, Darrian, Olivia, Zoe.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilbur, Waldo, Dale and Ron Beck; two sisters, Carol Hale and Pam Beck; and a grandson, Quinton.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 13, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia and again on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Ohltown United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, 11 a.m. at the Ohltown United Methodist Church, with pastor Jim Spatholt officiating.
Burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia.
