COLUMBIANA -- Columbiana was able to turn the tables on Heartland with a 10-3 victory on Friday at Firestone Park.
Heartland had beaten Columbiana 10-6 on March 30 in the first battle between the father and son coaches -- Bryce Franken at Columbiana and Mark Franken at Heartland.
Hayden Pipoly had two doubles and an RBI for the winners. Dylan Hogan added three hits and an RBI. Maxx Grommes had three hits. Ian Less chipped in two RBIs.
Alex Eusebio got the win with seven strikeouts and four walks. Will Morgan took the loss with no walks and no strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings.
Columbiana is 12-8.
For Heartland (9-9), Jake Walker had two hits, while Seth Walker had a single.
Heartland hosts Howland on Saturday at Next Level.
Columbiana is at Toronto on Saturday.

STRUTHERS -- United managed just two hits in a 3-0 loss to Ursuline on Friday at Cene Park.
Trent Newburn was tagged with a loss with a strikeout and a walk in 1 1/3 innings after he departed due to being hit with a line drive.
Quinton Taylor had a triple.
United is 10-8 and is at East Palestine on Monday.

GARRETTSVILLE-- West Branch's baseball team drilled Garfield 14-0 in five innings on Friday.
Boston Mulinix had a home run for the Warriors, while Beau Alazaus had a double and four RBIs. Anthony Perry had a single, double and three RBIs. Jacob Moss was the winning pitcher with a strikeout and a walk in four innings.
West Branch is 15-4 and hosts South Range on Saturday.

East Canton 6, Southern 1
SALINEVILLE -- East Canton set down Southern 6-1 on Friday.
Brady Ketchum, Chuck McCulley and Mason Pitts had hits for the Indians.
McCulley took the loss but had 10 strikeouts and two walks in five innings.
Southern is 4-12 and is at Springfield on Monday.

Cambridge 6, East Liverpool 0
CAMBRIDGE -- Cambridge scored four in the second inning to hold on for a 6-0 win over East Liverpool on Friday.
Anderson Fitch had East Liverpool's lone hit.
Mason Ludwig took the loss with three strikeouts and eight walks in 2 2/3 innings of work.
East Liverpool falls to 6-13. The Potters are set to play at Carrollton on Tuesday.
