SALEM — Columbiana’s boys golf team did enough to advance to the Division III district with a third-place finish on Thursday in the sectional at Salem Hills.

The Clippers shot 337 as a team to take third behind Mooney (309) and Lowellville (333). The top three teams and top three individuals not on qualifying teams advances to the district tournament set for Tuesday at Tannenhauf Golf Club.

For the Clippers, Trenton Hall had an 81, Blake Unger 83, David Masters 85 and Nick Klindworth 88.
