Fox Sports had the first 12 races of the season, with eight being carried on FS1. Last year's Coca-Cola 600 on Fox averaged 3.2 million viewers.
According to Nielsen, the audience for Sunday night's race peaked at 2.92 million viewers near the midway point.

Guardians win with five-run eighth inning
CLEVELAND (AP) -- Angel Martinez hit a three-run, go-ahead homer and the Cleveland Guardians scored five times in the eighth inning to rally for a 7-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.
The Dodgers built a 4-1 lead before Lou Trivino gave up an RBI single to Carlos Santana in the bottom of the seventh. Nolan Jones tied it in the eighth with a two-run single off Tanner Scott (0-1) and Martinez followed with his 394-foot blast off Alex Vesia.
Matt Festa (1-0) pitched the eighth and Emmanuel Clase worked a perfect ninth for his 11th save. The Guardians salvaged the third and final game of the interleague series.
Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw was denied his 213th win, despite pitching a season-high five innings and allowing one run. The three-time NL Cy Young Award winner struck out three in his third outing since undergoing left knee and toe surgery.
Jose Ramirez extended his career-long hitting streak to 21 games with an RBI single in the first, also moving into eighth place in Cleveland history with 1,564 hits. Carlos Santana went 3 for 4 with an RBI.
Will Smith, Andy Pages and Freddie Freeman drove in runs and Kike Hernandez scored on a wild pitch for Los Angeles.
Guardians left fielder Steven Kwan left the game after three innings with right wrist inflammation.
Kolby Allard made a spot start for Cleveland, allowing two runs in four innings.
Key stat: Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani, who leads the majors with 20 home runs, went 0 for 3 with a walk. He had homered in three straight games.
Another Pirates rally
PHOENIX (AP) -- Paul Skenes dominated in six-plus scoreless innings, O'Neil Cruz hit a two-run homer and the Pittsburgh Pirates rolled over the Arizona Diamondbacks 10-1 on Wednesday.
The Pirates rallied from down 6-2 with seven runs in the eighth inning to beat the Diamondbacks 9-6 on Tuesday night.
There was no need for a comeback with Skenes (4-5) on the mound.
Last year's NL rookie of the year allowed four hits, struck out seven and walked none in 6 2/3 innings. Skenes has not allowed more than six hits in an MLB-record 35 starts to open his career.
Pittsburgh took two of three from Arizona for its first road series win and second overall since April 22-24 against the Los Angeles Angels.
Arizona's Zac Gallen (3-7) allowed six runs -- five earned -- on six hits with three strikeouts and three walks in five innings. Gallen walked the leadoff batter three times and all three scored.
Arizona has lost seven of eight.
Henry Davis hit a run-scoring single in the second inning after a leadoff walk and Pittsburgh scored two runs in the fifth on second baseman Jordan Lawler's throwing error following a leadoff walk.
Gallen issued another leadoff walk in the sixth inning and was pulled after Ke'Bryan Hayes' run-scoring single. Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit a two-run double off Juan Morillo and Bryan Reynolds made it 8-0 with a run-scoring triple.
Five Toronto pitchers combine on one-hitter
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Bo Bichette hit a pinch-hit, two-run homer in the ninth inning, five Toronto pitchers combined on a one-hitter and the Blue Jays beat the Texas Rangers 2-0 on Wednesday night.
Bichette, who was out of the starting lineup because of lower back soreness, hit an 0-1 fastball from Jacob Webb (2-3) just over the left field wall with two outs.
Brendon Little (3-0), the fourth Blue Jays pitcher, struck out the only two batters he faced. Jeff Hoffman then had a strikeout in a perfect ninth for his 12th save in 15 chances to close out Toronto's third shutout this season.
The Rangers were held scoreless for the seventh time, and their only hit was leadoff hitter Josh Smith's sharp single to left in the first inning. He also walked twice.
Paxton Schultz stuck out four and allowed the lone hit while going 2 2/3 innings in his first big league start for Toronto. Eric Lauer struck out four in 3 1/3 innings, and Braydon Fisher had two punchouts in his one inning.
Toronto won two of three in the series that had only seven combined runs. The Blue Jays won the opener 2-1, and Texas won 2-0 on Tuesday with both runs in the eighth inning.
