BELOIT — West Branch’s girls soccer team beat Avonworth (Pa.) 2-0 on Monday for its fifth straight shutout.

Ellie Tucker and Elli Colian had goals for the Warriors. Alinee Bacconi had an assist.

Audrey Eaton had six saves.

West Branch is 10-0-1 and will be at Carrollton on Thursday.

Salem 2, Springfield 2

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Salem and Springfield’s girls soccer teams played to a 2-2 draw on Monday.

Salem is 8-2-3, while Springfield is 8-2-1.

Chaya Murray scored Salem’s first goal on an assist from Karlie Sampson. Sampson added another Quaker goal in the first half.

Paige Menough had five saves for Salem.

The Quakers are at Marlington on Wednesday.

Crestview 9, Liberty 0

COLUMBIANA — Crestview’s boys soccer team rocketed past Liberty 9-0 on Monday.

The Rebels are 9-3 and will play at LaBrae on Wednesday.
