Craig wins at state
OBETZ -- United's middle school cross country team produced successful results on Sunday at the OHSAA 7th and 8th Grade Cross Country Meet at Fortress Obetz.
Michael Craig, a 7th grader, won the Div. A Open boys race in a time of 11:37.89, his personal best. Zigler Williams, an 8th grader, finished 12th in 12:25.44.
On the girls side, United 7th grader Aybree Maines was 10th (14:08.25) in the Div. A Open race. Amelia Ludwig as 19th in 14:39.75, while Morgan Laibe was 68th (17:19.39). Eva Marshall was 93rd (19:24.88).
OHSAA sets state schedule
COLUMBUS - The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced the schedule and ticket details for the football state championship games December 4-6 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
2025 OHSAA Football State Championships Schedule
Thursday, Dec. 4 - Division II at 7 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 5 - Division IV at 10:30 a.m.
Friday, Dec. 5 - Division III at 3 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 5 - Division I at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 6 - Division VII at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, Dec. 6 - Division VI at 3 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 6 - Division V at 7:30 p.m.
All-session general admission tickets, which include all seven state championship games, are $95 for adults and $60 for students. General admission tickets for the three Friday games or three Saturday games are $42 for adults and $30 for students. General admission ticket holders must exit the stadium between games.
