HANOVERTON — Gavin Coffee, Jude Andrea, Cayden Pitts and Josh Hawkins scored in United’s 5-4 loss to Lake Center Christian on Tuesday.

Lake Center is 4-7-2.

Aiden Gundersen had 12 saves for the Eagles, 5-6-1.

United is at Beaver Local Thursday.

West Branch 3, Salem 0

SALEM — West Branch’s boys soccer team tallied a 3-0 win over Salem on Tuesday.

The Warriors are 10-3 and 4-1 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference. West Branch finished second in the league behind Marlington who went 5-0 in league play.

L. Leon Gonzalez had two goals for the Warriors. Gavin Clemens had the other goal. Mason Thomas and Kasen Weaver added assists. Lance Myers had five saves.

West Branch is at Ursuline on Thursday.

Salem fell to 9-3-2 and 2-2-1 in the league.

Salem hosts Niles on Saturday.
