Creek coach hospitalized

WINTERSVILLE — Indian Creek athletic director and boys basketball coach Joe Dunlevy was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering a medical emergency.

His family announced on Facebook that he was in critical condition in a Pittsburgh hospital but wanted to keep the details private.

He has served as the Indian Creek basketball coach since 1993.

Beaver Local beats Branch

BELOIT — Beaver Local downed West Branch, 43-39, in freshman boys basketball action Monday.

Kolin Kaley led West Branch with 16 points, including five three-pointers. Logan Hawk added 11 points.

The Warriors (2-7) will host Heartland Christian at 1 p.m. Friday.
