Clippers get the bats going against Warren Harding
COLUMBIANA — Alexis Sperling had a single, triple and three RBIs to lead Columbiana to an 11-1 win over Warren Harding in five innings on Thursday.
Kyla Hogan added two hits and an RBI. Landry Smith also had two hits.
Ella Eisenbraun was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and a walk in four innings.

BOARDMAN — Campbell Memorial downed Leetonia 12-2 on Thursday at the Field of Dreams.
For Leetonia, Audrey Ellis-Russell had a double and two RBIs.
Carli Simms was the losing pitcher with six strikeouts and five walks over four innings.
Leetonia (0-5) is slated to play a doubleheader at United on Wednesday.

BELOIT — Champion produced 16 hits in a 14-4 win over West Branch on Thursday.
Carly Loper had two doubles for the Warriors. Sara Schmidt had a single, double and two RBIs. Zoe Metzger had a double.
Maylin Hartzell took the loss for West Branch with three strikeouts and four walks in seven innings.
West Branch is 0-3 and will host Poland on Saturday.

MALVERN — Lexi Brabant’s two out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh lifted Malvern to a 13-12 win over Lisbon on Thursday.
Lisbon came back from eight runs down in the first inning to go up 11-9 in the fifth inning.
Aria Reckner had a single, double and two RBIs for the Devils. Delaney Pickens had two hits and three RBIs.
Lexi Roush was the losing pitcher with two walks, two strikeouts and two earned runs in 5 2/3 innings.
Lisbon is 2-4 and will travel to United for two games on Monday.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Kaden Dragisich had a single and double, while Noah Willey struck out 13 while walking just two in a 6-0 Oak Glen win over Columbiana on Thursday.
James Rohbeck had two hits for the winners.
The Clippers scattered four singles. Avery Young took the loss with six strikeouts and a walk in 4 2/3 innings.
Oak Glen is 3-8 and will host Steubenville Catholic Central on Monday.

Bosela took the loss with five walks, five earned runs and six strikeouts in three innings.
Columbiana will play Honeoye Falls-Lima (New York) and Brockport (New York) today to round out its Myrtle Beach trip.

Lisbon is 2-0 and will be play at 7 p.m. today at Salem.

West Branch is 1-1 and is set to host Streetsboro today.
