BELOIT — West Branch won its home opener by downing Ursuline 6-2 on Tuesday.

Nick Scofinsky had a double and single for the Warriors. Jeremiah Thomas had two hits. Grady Close had a triple and an RBI. Carson Wike and Gavyn Webb had two doubles.

Thomas was the winning pitcher with six strikeouts and three walks over four innings.
