Lisbon edges Tigers
WELLSVILLE — Emelia Cook had a home run, single and three RBIs as Lisbon downed Wellsville 7-4 on Thursday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play.
Brooklyn Dailey had four hits including a double. Abby Ammon had three hits and an RBI as did Sofia Brown.
Kamryn Peruchetti was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and a walk in seven innings.
Madelyn Landess had two hits and two RBIs for the Tigers.
Makayla Landess took the loss with seven strikeouts and a walk in seven innings.
Lisbon is 4-8 overall and 3-4 in the EOAC. The Devils are slated to play at Waterloo today.
Wellsville (3-8, 2-6 EOAC) will host Steubenville Central today.

UNITY — Niles erased an early five-run deficit in the fourth inning to beat East Palestine 7-5 on Thursday at Ace of Diamonds.
Graycee Ford had two hits for the Bulldogs, while Kennedy Andre added a triple.
In the circle, Alivia Magness and Andre combined for eight strikeouts and two walks.
East Palestine is 3-7 and hosts Liberty today.
