Quakers can’t catch Girard

SALEM — Salem’s softball team was on the losing end of a 13-4 scoreline on Wednesday.

Morgan Colian had three hits including a double for the Quakers. Mikayla Sneltzer had two hits.

Emilee Lewis was the losing pitcher as she had six strikeouts, five walks and nine earned runs over 6 1/3 innings.

Salem is 1-4 and is at Marlington today.

Crestview 0

RAVENNA — Southeast’s Liv Bragg threw a two-hitter as the Pirates blanked Crestview 10-0 in five innings on Wednesday.

Addison Finch had a double for the Rebels.

Lilly Beaver took the loss with three walks, five earned runs and no strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings.

Crestview (7-3) is scheduled to host Champion on Monday.

East Palestine 1

UNITY — Two days after losing 12-1 to East Palestine, Lisbon turned it around and won 12-0 in six innings on Wednesday against the Bulldogs at Ace of Diamonds.

Kamryn Peruchetti had three hits including a double with four RBIs for Lisbon. Lexi Roush added three hits including a double and three RBIs. Brooklyn Dailey added three hits including a double and an RBI. Aria Reckner had a triple.

Peruchetti was the winning pitcher with five strikeouts and no walks in six innings. She gave up just three singles.

Kennedy Andre was the losing pitcher with three strikeouts and a walk in 5 1/3 innings.

Lisbon is 3-8 and 2-4 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference.

East Palestine is 3-6 and 3-5 in the EOAC.

Lisbon hosts Lowellville today.

East Palestine hosts Niles today.

Alliance 13, United 2

HANOVERTON — Alliance won for the third time in nine tries with a 13-2 win in five innings over United on Wednesday.

Brittany Miller had a triple and two RBIs for the Eagles.

Madison Aegerter was the losing pitcher with three strikeouts and four walks in five innings.

Lilly White homered for the Aviators.

United is 11-3 and is set to play at Alliance on April 22.
