United comes back on Poland

POLAND — United rallied for three runs in the last two innings to defeat Poland 4-3 on Monday.

Madison Aegerter and Payten Kekel had two hits and two RBIs each for the Eagles.

Aegerter was the winning pitcher with three strikeouts and two walks in seven innings.

United is 16-6 and hosts Waynedale in a tournament game on Wednesday.

West Branch 5, Hubbard 1

HUBBARD — Ellie Tucker had four hits including a triple with an RBI as West Branch downed Hubbard 5-1 on Monday.

Carly Loper added two hits. Maylin Hartzell had a double.

Tucker was the winning pitcher with 11 strikeouts and no walks in seven innings.

West Branch is 9-11 and is at Canton GlenOak today.

Lisbon 12, Leetonia 2

LEETONIA — Abby Ammon had two home runs and three RBIs to lead Lisbon to a 12-2 win over Leetonia on Monday.

Kamryn Peruchetti got the win with nine strikeouts and a walk in five innings.

Lexi Roush added a double, triple, single and three RBIs. Alayna Householder, Aria Reckner and Sofia Brown had doubles.

Payton Gray had two hits including a double and two RBIs for the Bears.

Laniya Dubose took the loss with four strikeouts and seven walks in five innings.

Lisbon (7-13) hosts Lordstown in a Div. VII sectional game at 5 p.m. today.

Leetonia (1-19) is at Southington for a Div. VII sectional game at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

SALEM — Morgan Colian had two hits including a double with an RBI as Salem’s softball team outlasted Columbiana 3-2 on Monday.

Hadley Carlisle added a double for the Quakers.

Emilee Lewis was the winning pitcher with 16 strikeouts and six walks over seven innings.

Josie Hepler had two hits and an RBI for the Clippers. Ella Eisenbraun took the loss with six strikeouts and a walk in six innings.

Salem is 6-12 and will be at Crestview today.

Columbiana fell to 12-7 and is at Garfield today.

Maplewood 4, Crestview 0

COLUMBIANA — Maplewood’s Addison Marker threw a no-hitter with 17 strikeouts in a 4-0 win over Crestview on Monday.

Marker only allowed one base-runner on a hit by pitch. She also homered and doubled.

Makayla McKee took the loss with 12 strikeouts and three walks in seven innings.

Crestview (9-11) hosts Loudonville on Wednesday in a tournament game.
