MALVERN -- Lisbon’s volleyball team defeated Malvern 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 7-25, 15-11 on Wednesday.
Hannah Davis led the Blue Devils (1-2) with 34 digs. Gionna Lenigar had nine kills and five blocks, Alanna Householder had 12 kills, seven digs, eight points and three aces, Addison Anderson had nine kills and eight digs and Lilly Lipply added seven kills and four digs.
Bridgett Newbold finished with 25 assists and six points.
Ariel Dickey Smith and Davis turned in standout performances in the passing game for Lisbon.
Lisbon won the jayvee portion 25-23, 25-23.
Kyker Malone led with seven kills, followed by Emmy Haynes with five and Carrie Hager with four. Gracyn Owens had eight assists and five aces.
Lisbon hosts Columbiana today.

EAST PALESTINE -- East Palestine defeated Lisbon 20-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-14 on Tuesday in prep volleyball action.
For Lisbon, Bridgett Newbold had 21 assists, Addy Anderson eight kills, Allayna Householder three aces, 11 kills, Lilly Lipply 15 points, four kills and four digs, Gionna Lenigar nine kills, three blocks, Hannah Davis 12 digs, Aria Reckner seven points and Ella Cochran seven points.
Lisbon won the jayvee match 25-13, 25-9. Johanna Ford had 16 points and five digs. Gracyn Owens added five kills and seven aces.
CRESTVIEW FROSH
COLUMBIANA -- Crestview’s freshman volleyball team knocked off Canfield 18-25, 27-25, 25-21 on Tuesday. Lauryn Gaydos had two aces and 20 assists. Laney Edwards added five digs and nine kills. Maddie Look had eight kills.
