OHSAA MEET CANCELED
OBETZ -- The Ohio High School Athletic Association Preseason Invitational cross country meet scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to standing water on the course at Fortress Obetz.
City officials from Obetz and OHSAA decided to cancel the meet on Monday and said it would be impossible to mitigate the standing water on the course.
OHSAA said it also needed to ensure that the course is in good condition for the state championship events -- the junior high on Oct. 25 and the high school on Nov. 7.

RACE MOVED UP
LOUDON, New Hampshire -- The start time for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been moved up one hour to 2 p.m. due to inclement weather in the forecast.
Sunday's forecast calls for a risk of showers or scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
The race will be televised live on USA.
