Pair repeats as Clipper C.C. Series winners

COLUMBIANA — The second race in the Clipper Cross Country Series was much list the first. Former Southern Local standout Logan Redfern and Beaver Local seventh-grader Samantha Williams repeated as the race winners on Wednesday. Redfern topped the 110-runner field in a time of 17 minutes, 11 seconds over the new 3-mile high school course at the Ward Athletic Complex. Williams was the top female runner in 20:00.
