Branch exits with Norton loss

NORTON — Norton scored six runs over the course of the first two innings and rode pitcher Caeden DeDomenic to a 6-2 win over West Branch in a Div. IV district semifinal. West Branch got one run in the first off a Grady Close RBI sacrifice fly and the second off of a passed ball in which Gavyn Webb scored in the sixth. The Warriors totaled five hits, all singles. Jeremiah Thomas took the loss as he lasted 2/3 of an inning with four walks and a strikeout. No. 19 seeded West Branch ends its campaign at 11-14.
