Salem’s Hopple strides to 3200 victory at GlenOak
CANTON — Addison Hopple raced to a win in the 3200-meter run to lead Salem’s girls track team on Saturday at the Canton GlenOak Second Sole Eagle Elite meet. Hopple finished in 11:42.94. Peyton Colbert earned a second-place finish in the high jump as she cleared 5 feet. Chaya Murray also turned in a strong time in the 100 as she was third in 12.85. The Quaker 1600 relay team of Laura Hovorka, Abby Knickerbocker, Karlie Sampson and Murray was second in 4:11.89. Salem’s girls finished tied for sixth with 51 points.
