Alliance 12, Salem 11 SALEM — Salem rallied from a six-run deficit in the fifth inning to force extra innings before falling to Alliance, 12-11, in eight innings Wednesday. Alliance improves to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference, while the Quakers drop to 1-4 and 0-2. Salem has scored 36 runs over its last four games. Emilee Lewis and Mikayla Sneltzer each scored three runs to put the Quakers on their way to a 19-6 win over Warren Harding in five innings Wednesday. Morgan Colian hit a double and drove in three runs. Aniya Jones and Lacie Gainor each had two hits Morgane Blaine and Shae Burkhart collected doubles.
