Yellowstone actor passes out water filters

Star appeal and crisis relief drew a crowd to The Original Roadhouse in East Palestine Friday morning as Luke Grimes, who stars in the television series Yellowstone on Paramount+, handed out free water filtration systems to East Palestine residents. It took Grimes, a Dayton native, less than two hours to distribute the filters. Grimes signed autographs and took photos with the residents who lined up to meet the young Hollywood star, despite the rain. The giveaway was the combined efforts of Grimes, Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment (owners of seven steakhouses in the Midwest) and Cincinnati based TransLoop (a technology driven logistics company). All together, the team presented the village with over $100,000 in disaster relief. (Photo by Stephanie Elverd)
