Salem High School Class of 1964 holds 55-year reunion

Salem High School Class of 1964 gathered for a weekend of festivities Aug. 9 and 10. On that Friday, 67 classmates and guests enjoyed the evening at the Salem Saxon Club clubhouse. Then on Saturday evening the celebration continued with dinner and dancing at the Salem Golf Club formal dining. Although he was unable to attend the reunion, recognition was given to Dr. John Stratton for his generous donation of $100,000 to the Alumni Association to create a new scholarship for Salem High School graduates who are enrolled in medical doctor programs. The weekend concluded on Sunday with the Salem Summer Concert Series honoring Salem High School Alumni Night with the Class of 1966 band and Manhattan.
