LISBON — The Columbiana County Educational Service Center has officially kicked off its three robotics leagues for the 2025-26 season.
The VEX V5 High School Robotics Competition League opened on Nov. 5 with teams from 10 districts including Lisbon, Springfield Local, Beaver Local, Crestview, Salem, Leetonia, East Palestine, United, East Liverpool and Columbiana competing in the first round.
The VEX IQ Middle School Robotics League began play on Nov. 13 and includes teams from Columbiana, Beaver Local, Crestview, East Liverpool and Springfield.
The VEX IQ Elementary School Robotics League also launched its season this month, with teams from East Liverpool, Columbiana and Southern Local completing their first round of challenges.
Each league will compete in two additional rounds before advancing to finals in February.
Community members are encouraged to come out and cheer on these young innovators as they advance toward championship season.
