LISBON — The man accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend after allegedly running her over last year in East Liverpool has new appointed counsel after his hired attorneys withdrew and he was declared indigent. Perry Township trustees OK miscellaneous repair costs

PERRY TOWNSHIP — The board of trustees approved repair costs in its meeting Monday. The trustees unanimously approved the repair of one of the police department’s radar systems by PB Electronics for $645. The trustees also approved the purchase of cement cubes for storm drain repairs at a cost of $1,000. Leetonia council approves purchase of new police vehicle

LEETONIA — Village council approved the purchase of a new vehicle for the police department in its recent meeting. Council unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the purchase of a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado for the police department from Asia Motor Inc. Police Chief Allen Haueter said the Silverado would cost $54,000 and come fully outfitted for service.
