Columbiana receives nearly $665K for storm sewers

COLUMBIANA — The second and final round of federal funding has been released for one of the many storm water projects that are ongoing in the city. The Federal Emergency Management Agency and Ohio Emergency Management Agency have announced that $664,596 has been released to the city for new storm sewers in the area of East Park Avenue, Friend Street, Pittsburgh Street and Fairfield Avenue neighborhoods. Lisbon teens return to council with information about possible skate park

LISBON — The Lisbon teens who want a skate park in Lisbon returned to the village council meeting this week armed with more information, including the size of the village-owned property for the site. Brody McCreight, the teen spokesman for the group, said the property at the end of South Jefferson Street measures 100 feet by 80 feet. He said he also spoke with representatives of D.W.
