Mile Branch Grange soup sale

Mile Branch Grange, 495 Knox School Road, Alliance, will hold its monthly drive-thru soup sale on Thursday, March 12. Cost is $9 per quart. This month’s soups will be chicken noodle and chili. Soup must be preordered by noon on Wednesday, March 11. Soup will be available for pick up from 4 to 6 p.m. It will be packaged and delivered directly to cars ready to heat when at home. Leetonia kindergarten registration

Leetonia Elementary School will hold kindergarten screening for students entering kindergarten for the 2026/2027 school year on Wednesday, May 6 by appointment in the elementary school library. Packets may be picked up in the elementary office beginning March 9. Appointments will be made when packet is picked up. Children who are age 5 by Aug. 26, 2026 are eligible to register for kindergarten. Parents or guardians should have the following information in order to register: child’s birth certificate, immunization records, two proof of residency, parent identification and custody papers if applicable. Columbiana First UMC soup sale

Columbiana First UMC will hold its final soup sale of the year in this month. Pre-orders are due by March 8. Call 330-482-2382. Soups available for order include: chicken noodle, stuffed pepper, potato, vegetable, ham and bean, and chili. Pickup will be on March 12 between 3 and 4:30 p.m.

Banquet of Lisbon Monday

The Lisbon Police Department will sponsor the Banquet of Lisbon from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 9 at the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church. The menu will include vegetable soup, pulled pork sandwiches, ice cream and beverages. Carry outs after 6 p.m. if available. The meal is free and open to the public.
