YALCARS to host grand opening at new Salem location March 27
SALEM — YALCARS will host the grand opening of YALCARS Auto Park, its new flagship campus located at 152 Continental Drive, from 4 to 6 p.m. March 27.
A location with more than half
a century of automotive legacy
The YALCARS Auto Park campus stands on a site with deep automotive roots. The property’s story began in 1969, when the A.J. Loudon Company, led by Henry Ford Loudon, moved its Ford dealership from Hanoverton to Salem. Loudon had originally acquired the Ford franchise in 1954, and his expansion into Salem marked the beginning of a new era for the region’s automotive landscape. In 1972, he added a Lincoln Mercury dealership, solidifying the location as a major automotive hub for Columbiana County for decades. The Loudon family continued shaping the region’s auto market through additional used car operations in Salem, Alliance, and Minerva.
In later years, the property became home to Donnell Ford Lincoln of Salem, further extending the site’s reputation as a trusted destination for automotive sales and service until its closure. Today, YALCARS proudly inherits this legacy honoring the past while transforming the property into a modern, full-service automotive campus for the next generation.
A new era for automotive retail in Ohio
Following the consolidation of its three former lots into this expansive new campus on March 2, YALCARS Auto Park introduces a full suite of premium amenities, including:
— A high-capacity indoor showroom for pre-owned and certified pre-owned vehicles
— A full service, reconditioning, and parts center
— A dedicated detail department
— EV charging stations
— A touchless car wash
— A premium customer lounge
— The debut of YALCARS Cafe, a gourmet, automotive-themed coffee experience
— And the region’s newest specialty destination: YALCARS Exotics, a luxury and exotic vehicle showroom featuring high-performance and rare models for enthusiasts and collectors
“We’ve designed a complete automotive destination for our customers here in the heart of Ohio,” said Yigit Yalcin, president & CEO of YALCARS. “This location has served the Salem community for more than 50 years, and we’re honored to carry that history forward. We love Salem, and we believe deeply in the economic progress of Columbiana County. Our impact in the pre-owned market — locally and nationwide through digital sales and deliveries — has brought us to this moment. Now we’re stepping ahead with something better, bigger, nicer, and newer for our community.”
