Fairfield Ruritans BBQ chicken

Fairfield Ruritan Club will hold its chicken barbecue from 4 to 6 p.m. April 11 at Grace Church on South Main Street in Columbiana. George Washington portrayal

Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Salem will present Curt Radabaugh in a portrayal of Gen. George Washington from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 26 in the church’s educational building, 251 S. Broadway Ave. The free event will celebrate 250 years of American independence. Children are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
