September and October events at Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center

EAST LIVERPOOL – The Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center has announced the following activities for September and October: Saturday, Sept. 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. – Ohio School of Falconry. The Ohio School of Falconry will be set up in front yard of the Wildlife Education Center. Joe Dorian will demonstrate how the birds fly and capture their food and talk about each bird. Guests will be able to take pictures of the birds. At the end of the program, 10 names will be drawn from those attending the program (must be at least 9 years old to do this). First Methodist Church of Salem meatloaf and ham loaf sale Orders are open for the First Methodist Church of Salem’s annual meatloaf and ham loaf sale. The sale has been an annual tradition for more than 25 years supporting ministry in the Salem area. This year the 1-pound baked loaves will be $8 each, and orders can be placed by calling 330-337-9531. Callers are asked to leave a voicemail with their name and phone number where they can be called when their order is ready for pickup.
