Minerva Homecoming set for June 10-13

MINERVA – Minerva’s 103rd annual Homecoming will be Wednesday through Saturday, June 10 to 13, in Municipal Park. The event will kick off with the Homecoming parade Wednesday, June 10, 6 p.m. Lineup is at Minerva Middle School, and the route is south on Bonnieview, west on Line Street, north on Market, east on Lincoln Way, and ending at Minerva High School. Dowds to celebrate 75 years

Jean and Lewis Dowd of Salem will be celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary. The former Jean Moore and Lewis Dowd were married in Lisbon on June 1, 1951. They have lived in their current residence in Salem for 66 years.
