Salem Regional Medical Center only tri-county hospital to report zero CLABSI events in latest CMS data

SALEM – New federal data shows that 405 hospitals nationwide reported zero central line–associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI) from July 2024 through June 2025 — and Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is the only hospital in the tri-county area to achieve this milestone. Salem Walking Tour to highlight abolitionist history, Teach Truth Day of Action

SALEM — On Saturday, community members are invited to explore Salem’s lesser-known history through a guided walking tour highlighting the town’s role in the abolitionist movement. The event will begin at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church on Second Street.
