Quakertown Trolly Tour The Quakertown Trolley Tour, scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, will transport passengers back to the late 1850s for an immersive look at Salem’s role in the Underground Railroad and the abolitionist movement before the Civil War. HOMEWORTH — The West Branch Area Ladies Ruritan Club gathered for its annual Christmas party Dec. 8 at Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church in Homeworth. A meal prepared by the church was enjoyed as well as musical entertainment, a gift exchange, and games with prizes awarded. Each of the members baked two dozen cookies to donate to area volunteer fire departments and Knox township crew.
