ELKTON (WKBN) — A historic Columbiana County landmark is entering a new chapter. A barn along Route 154 in Elkton that dates back to the 1830s is under new ownership. Most people know the property as Lock 24, but now it’s called the 1830 Gathering Place. The building has seen many businesses come and go throughout the years. MUNICIPAL LISBON — A Columbiana County jail inmate who allegedly escaped from East Liverpool City Hospital and a man who allegedly lied to deputies about the ride he gave him both had their cases bound over to the county grand jury. Joseph R. Adams, 48, Holliday Street, East Liverpool, waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday in county Municipal Court for escape, a second-degree felony, and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. LISBON — A Washingtonville man found not guilty by reason of insanity in 2024 for felonious assault and other charges will remain on conditional release in the community.
