LISBON — Mayors from local communities were able to visit the Columbiana County Educational Service Center and speak to teachers during the ESC’s recent Teacher Bootcamp. The Bootcamp, which was held last week, was a way for local teachers to see first-hand the available careers in Columbiana County. HANOVERTON — The United Local School District is beginning work on a Capital Plan for the district. The idea for a Capital Plan was broached by Board of Education member RuthAnn Rinto in June. At that time, District Treasurer Melissa Baker said that she and Superintendent Lance Hostetler agreed there is a need for a Capital Plan.
