MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – A May 5 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Stephen T. Westover, 25, Clarkson Road, Rogers, charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into Pat Palmer’s garage, stealing a welder and welding sticks on Thursday. Bond was set at $75,000 cash or surety. A pretrial was also set for May 5 for an intoxicated pedestrian charge.

A May 12 pretrial was set for David L. Bradley III, 26, state Route 154, Rogers, cited with receiving stolen property for allegedly placing property stolen by Stephen Westover, into his vehicle’s trunk when he knew it had been stolen on Thursday.

Alicia D. Pipes, 24, Weirton, W.Va. was fined $735, three days counseling, six months license suspension, 30 community service. OVI first offense, failure to appear and marked lanes.

Jacob D. Keenan, 24, Quay Road, Negley, was fined $250 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving under OVI suspension.

Kristy L. Steed, 44, Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 15 hours of community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Linda L. Conrad, 57, Rural Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $280 for driving under FRA suspension and seat belt.

A May 12 pretrial was set for Greggory T. Mason Jr., 32, Aliquippa, cited with possession of a drug abuse instrument and expired license.

A May 12 pretrial was set for Victor J. Gaetano, 50, Maple Avenue, Wellsville charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing Samantha Crawford down the stairs and out onto the road.

A May 12 pretrial was set for Samantha L. Crawford, 29, Foundry Hill Road, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting her boyfriend Victor Gaetano and throwing him down the stairs.

A June 7 pretrial was set for Patrick Palmer, 47, Dutchtown Road, Rogers, cited with failure to confine dogs.

Donald D. Crane, 21, Allen Drive, Salem, was fined $250 and required 15 hours community service for speeding.

A May 31 pretrial was set for Timothy M. Tonkinson, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with failure to confine dogs. He was also fined $50 for no license.

Michael D. Lair, 39, West Oregon Avenue, Sebring, was fined $280 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Kenneth Devore, 18, Erie Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 15 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Mark S. Bailey, 33, state Route 154, Rogers, was fined $250 and required 15 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

A June 14 pretrial was set for Willard R. McCallister Jr., 45, state Route 9, Hanoverton, charged with driving under FRA suspension.

A June 20 pretrial was set for John P. Bradshaw, 41, Brownsville, Pa., cited with no license and seat belt violation.

A June 23 pretrial was set for Charles A. Corbett Jr., 66, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, cited with operating a cab without a proper ID displayed in Salem and traffic control devices.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – Charges of complicity to illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility charge were dismissed against Lisa R. Orin, 46, Irish Ridge Road, East Liverpool, and Byron T. Deem, 41, Main Street, Wellsville, in Columbiana County Municipal Court because they both now have been indicted on the same charge in Common Pleas Court.

William H. Martin, 43, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months, required 40 hours community service and ordered to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and left of center. Failure to register and open container citations were dismissed.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Austin R. Young, 21, Vine Street, Salem, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly jumping from a second story window, cutting himself with a knife and becoming involved in a standoff with his roommate on Sunday.

Derrick G. Black, 54, Youngstown, was fined $300 and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Justin M. Lamp, was fined $300 and required 60 hours community service for failure to display a valid sticker and driving under suspension.

Benjamin D. Johnston, 31, Bayard Road, Homeworth, was fined $250 for driving under FRA suspension.

Dawn M. Arnold, 43, Massillon, was fined $150 for speeding in a school zone.

Brent Lee Wymer, 20, Youngstown, was fined $100 for no cycle endorsement.

Pavel Tsupruk, 29, Parma Heights, was fined $100 for traffic control devices and left of center. A reckless operation citation was dismissed.

Michelle J. McCoy, 27, Depot Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 for speeding.

Ernest E. Moore Jr., 20, Bethel, was fined $30 for miscellaneous wildlife violation for building an open fire at the Highlandtown Wildlife area on April 18.

A May 5 pretrial was set for Charles E. Weyand, 40, Aetna Street, Salem, charged with receiving stolen property for a black canvas workbag containing miscellaneous tools stolen from the vehicle of Ronald Bruener over the weekend and reportedly posted on social media as for sale by Weyand.

A June 6 pretrial was set for Marlin R. Catlos, 53, Beechwood Road, Salem, charged with OVI second offense, driving under OVI suspension, failure to control and a seat belt violation. Catlos was fined $30 for open container.

A June 6 pretrial was set for Steven Flowers, 38, Spaite Drive, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and speeding.

A June 6 pretrial was set for Joseph J. Pahanish, 22, state Route 644, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly choking his sister, Monica Allison, on April 16.

A June 6 pretrial was set for Matthew Vincent Reitz, 23, Stow, cited with OVI first offense and parking on the highway.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Craig J. Conway, 65, Louisville, charged with OVI first offense and following too close.

A June 21 pretrial was set for Michael J. Abrahamson, 44, East South Range Road, New Springfield, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

David C. Matthews, 33, Crestview Road, Leetonia, waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be returned to Beaver County, Pennsylvania, where he is wanted on a warrant for allegedly failing to appear.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON -In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Chad E. Pahanish, 36, Whinnery Road, Lisbon, was fined $925, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, speeding and driving under suspension. Citations for drug possession, drug paraphernalia and open container were dismissed due to evidentiary reasons.

Seth A. Williams, 21, Creek Road, New Waterford, was fined $825, had his license suspended for six months, required a three-day counseling program, ordered 50 hours community service and sentenced to an additional three days in jail for OVI first offense, hit skip and failure to control.

Brett C. Sansenbaugher, 46, Bye Road, Rogers, was fined $810, had his license suspended for a year, sentenced to six days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, tail lights violation and marked lanes

Anna L. Robinson, 50, Walnut Street, Salem, was credited with 10 days served in jail, fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for resisting arrest for pulling away from police placing her into custody on April 15. A sentencing hearing was set for May 2 for a domestic violence charge for punching and slapping her boyfriend Allen Saum also on April 15.

Tanya E. Powell, 27, Garner Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250, sentenced to 180 days in jail where she was further ordered to attend counseling and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of a drug abuse instrument. Powell had seven hypodermic syringes, a burnt spoon and two tearoffs in her possession at a home on Main Street, Wellsville, where police were called due to her suffering a heroin overdose on Jan. 9.

Roger A. Scott Jr., 45, Toronto, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Cynthia L. Masters, 39, Buck Road, Beloit, was fined $250, credited with a day served in jail and required 30 hours community service for obstructing official business and falsification. Masters told deputies her vehicle was taken without her permission when she had given Jacob Carter permission to drive it on April 10. Then on April 13 she reported her boyfriend and her tenant were fighting and broke the window, when she later admitted she broke it pulling out the extension cord.

Richelle Lee Ameduri, 40, East Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $150 and credited with a day served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for an intoxicated argument with her husband, Eric J. Ameduri, which became physical with pushing, shoving and him being struck in the right eyebrow on March 13.

Amy E. Moore, 35, Elkton Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for driving under FRA suspension. A failure to display a valid sticker citation was dismissed.

Makayla Ann Swanson, 20, Churchill Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for no license.

Jack D. Evans, 28, East Main Street, Alliance, was fined $130 for failure to yield and no license amended from driving under OVI suspension.

William P. Long Jr., 42, Carey Road, Salem, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Charles Duane Green, 29, Knox School Road, Alliance, was fined $100 and credited with three days served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from assault for pushing Andrew Connor and elbowing him in the chest during an argument about who could use the washer in the home on Jan. 30.

Crystal R. Lewis, 31, Struthers, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Andrew D. Connor, Knox School Road, Alliance, was fined $50 for contempt for failing to appear for a subpoena in the case against Charles D. Green.

A commercial license required citation against Brent R. Bowser, 38, North Meadowbrook Circle, East Liverpool, was dismissed.

A June 6 pretrial was set for Jay G. Farrow, Rose Drive, Lisbon, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly causing an annoyance and alarm, causing people to vacate the Hornsby House on Sunday.

A June 16 pretrial was set for Jason W. Brandenburg, 37, Cuyahoga Falls, cited with speeding and possession of marijuana.

A June 23 pretrial was set for Kathryn S. Burr, 51, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – An illegal conveyance of any drug of abuse into a corrections facility charge against Steven Michael Hamilton, 27, Clarksmill Road, Hammondsville, was dismissed in Columbiana County Municipal Court because he has been served with a felony indictment for the same matter. Hamilton is alleged to have brought two pills, loose tobacco and marijuana cigarettes into the Columbiana County Jail in a Burger King bag on March 11.

Jacob W. Snyder, 27, Sanor Road, Hanoverton, was bound over to the grand jury on a theft charge for allegedly taking $2,602 in 249 transactions at the Guilford Dairy Bar by conducting a legitimate transaction, voiding the sale after the customer left and pocketing the cash between May 27, 2015 and July 4, 2015.

Wesley A. Henry, 35, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $300, credited with two days served and required 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business. A resisting arrest charge was dismissed. On Jan. 18, Henry had broken out a window in an apartment above the Coffee Stop in East Palestine, gone out on a ledge and was yelling profanities into the street. He also refused to cooperate when police were attempting to take him into custody.

A May 2 pretrial was set for Donna L. Mineard, 48, North Sumner Street, East Palestine, cited with falsification for allegedly lying to police on April 17, initially claiming she was raped while passed out on Mylanta, a stomach medication, and denying her boyfriend, Dustin Brayshaw had been there. Brayshaw, who had met police outside the home, told them he had been with her since the previous morning when he was released from jail, they had had sex about three times and were both high on colazepam. He claimed Mineard got angry with him when the pills ran out. Mineard eventually admitted to lying and refused to go through with having a rape kit investigation completed.

Amanda N. Corrigan, 32, Wheeling, W.Va., was fined $755, had her license suspended for 180 days, ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, assured clear distance and a seat belt violation.

Robert D. Saunier, 56, Massillon, was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months, required three days in counseling and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and headlights required.

Craig Patrick Spahr, 45, San Francisco, Calif., was fined $400 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Brett M. Ahearn, 19, Fairview Avenue, was fined $300, credited with a day in jail and sentenced to an additional 44 days for obstructing official business attempting to pass another person’s urine off as his own by hiding it inside a tube inside his sock on April 20.

Jeffrey F. Haynes, 62, John Street, Salineville, was fined $280 for expired license and lanes of travel.

Jeromy L. Echols, 33, Haiti Road, Salineville, was fined $280 for driving under FRA suspension and unsafe vehicle.

Candace A. Norris, 22, Water Street, Salineville, was fined $250 and sentenced to a day in jail for theft for shoplifting Starbucks drinks valued at nearly $6 from the Dollar General in Salineville on Feb. 27.

Ticen A. Martin, 19, Duquesne Street, Columbiana, was fined $250, required to attend three days counseling, had his license suspended for three months and ordered 30 hours community service for physical control amended from OVI first offense. An additional charge of failure to display a valid sticker was dismissed.

Nicholas E. Hubbard, 25, Riffle Road, New Waterford, was fined $150, required 30 hours community service and credited with three days in jail for criminal trespassing for entering a home on Southeast Boulevard in Salem, when he did not have permission from the owner.

Hallie N. Wolfe, 21, Chester, W.Va., was fined $130 and had her license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana and speeding.

Connie Lee Eiler, 25, Sherwood Street, East Liverpool, and Randy Gonzalez, 52, North Canton, were each fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Richard R. Heddleston III, 38, South Park Circle, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for speeding.

Robert Anderson, 36, Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for driving under suspension and a registration violation.

Cody E. Cameron, 22, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $250, required 25 hours community service and sentenced to five days in jail for driving under suspension and a headlights violation.

Larry White, 60, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $250 for driving under FRA suspension.

A May 2 pretrial was set for Anthony D. Jackson, 34, Youngstown, charged with obstructing official business and possession of drugs for allegedly lying to police investigating a report of suspicious drug activity at the Days Inn last Aug. 20.

A June 2 pretrial was set for Ronald R. Corbin, 37, Richardson Avenue, Negley, charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly choking Brianna Beaudoin on Sunday and then when her young daughter attempted to help her mother by jumping on his back, Corbin allegedly pushed her into a shelf containing DVDs and slammed her foot in the door.

A June 2 pretrial was set for William D. Sherrill, 29, Lisbon Street, Columbiana, cited with failure to reinstate a license.

A June 2 sentencing hearing was set for Linda L. Bowling, 34, West Fifth Street, Salem, who pleaded no contest to theft for allegedly taking two pairs of shoes, a $130 value, from Shoe Sensation in Salem, on Feb. 2.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Angel Joy Lewis, 30, East Main Street, New Waterford, cited with driving under suspension.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Adam M. Rendziniak, 26, East Sixth Street, Salem, cited with driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

A June 20 pretrial was set for Robert H. Clark III, 65, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense and assured clear distance.

A June 20 pretrial was set for Ronald D. Cochran, 48, Forbes Road, Wellsville, cited with violating rules regarding septic tanks for refusing to follow county heath department board orders regarding a failing system.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Kevin S. Himmelrick, 47, Weirton, W.Va., was fined $150 for lighted lights required.

Aaron McDole, 36, Haywood Street, East Liverpool, was fined $130, placed on one year probation and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and seat belt.

Travis L. Weese, 41, Walnut Street, Rogers, carrying concealed weapon case bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court. Weese reportedly had a tactical knife strapped to his ankle when county sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic at his home on April 14.

Paige E. Bennett, 19, Orchard Grove Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $1,075, sentenced three days jail, placed on two years probation, required to perform 50 hours community service and had her driver’s license suspended six months for OVI, driving under suspension/restriction and possession of instruments used to ingest or inhale a controlled substance.

Rammel S. Perry-Tisdale, 22, 18th Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 and had his driver’s license suspended 180 days for possession of marijuana.

Brian Williams, 28, Cleveland, was fined $100, placed on one year probation and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Dick A. Sachs Jr., 37, Y-Camp Road, Lisbon, was fined $250 and placed on two years probation for reckless operation and failure to control.

Dwayne E. Sheppard, 42, Mecca Road, Kensington, was fined $705, sentenced three days jail, placed on two years probation, required 30 hours community service and had his driver’s license suspended six months for OVI first offense and seat belt.

David K. Lynch, 31, Youngstown, was fined $400, given credit for one day served, placed on one year probation and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension restriction and failure to reinstate license.

Chance A.M. Tullis, 20, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $700, sentenced three days jail, placed on two years probation, required 30 hours community service and had his driver’s license suspended 12 months for OVI, two counts of possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and two counts traffic control devices.

Stacie Shaw, 29, Riley Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $50, placed on one year probation and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A May 9 pretrial was set for William M. Alesi III, 31, East Third Street, Salem, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument.

A May 16 court trial was set for Florence E. Robinson, 54, Edinburg, Pa., charged with possession of drugs and possession of instruments to ingest or inhale a controlled substance.

A June 9 pretrial was set for John N. Schiffauer, 58, Boardman, charged with maximum axle load.

A May 31 pretrial was set for Brad E. Soliday, 39, Euclid Avenue, Minerva, charged with speeding.

A June 7 pretrial was set for Ashly Thrasher, 27, Burford Street, East Liverpool, charged with driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Howard Lee Phillips, 48, Youngstown, was fined $800, had his license suspended for six months, required 50 hours community service and sentenced to five days in jail for OVI second offense and speeding.

Jason L. Briones, 47, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, was fined $675, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense.

Michael F. Lewis, 32, Caldwell Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $500, credited with nine days in jail and required 30 hours community service for two counts of theft for taking over the counter cough medicine from the Rite Aid in Lisbon without paying on both March 30 and March 28.

Christopher S. Toy, 29, Empire, was fined $300 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension and unsafe vehicle.

Jill E. Silliman, 39, Overlook Drive, Salem, was fined $250, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to a day in jail for driving under suspension.

Christopher Joy, 31, Danbury Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $250 and was credited with three days in jail for violating a civil protection order for attempting to assault his wife, Heather Joy’s boyfriend, Zachary Cline at the Rich Oil Gas Station on Sept. 2, 2015.

Travis S. Faulkner, 27, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $250, required 30 hours community service and credited with one day served in jail for theft for taking five items valued at under $11 total from the Family Dollar on West State Street, Salem.

MacKenzie Orin, 23, East Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for no license.

Marcus R. Gutierrez, 37, Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, was fined $250, credited with four days served in jail and sentenced to an additional six days for obstructing official business. Gutierrez ran into the woods when deputies arrived to avoid apprehension on Sunday. When he returned he was later found hiding in a clothes dryer.

Chad D. Jones, 31, Mill Street, Salineville, was fined $250 for use of an unauthorized plate.

Carmen Andric, 24, Whinnery Road, Salem, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Patricia R. Anderson, 75, Akron, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

William C. Wood Jr., 58, Middlefield, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Jessica E. Steve, 26, Fisher Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

An April 28 pretrial was set for Michael E. Oates Jr., 40, East Main Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pulling Sandra Reynolds out of a vehicle and striking her in the mouth on Monday.

An April 28 pretrial was set for Adam L. Lodge, 24, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with theft for taking a cell phone belonging to Susan Darcy on Dec. 19.

A May 16 court trial was set for Rose A. Ortiz, 49, New Castle, Pa., cited with possession of instruments to ingest/inhale a controlled substance for rolling papers and possession of marijuana. A pretrial was also set that date for Ortiz for citations of OVI first offense and speeding.

A June 13 pretrial was set for John M. Grindle Jr., 31, Main Street, Homeworth, charged with theft for allegedly taking items for a garage and asking his girlfriend to pawn them for him on Feb. 29.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Jared L. Barton, 21, Ridgewood Drive, Salem, was fined $925, sentenced to 20 days in jail, had his license suspended for one year and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense and speeding.

Daryll D. Hall, 33, Youngstown, was fined $900, sentenced to 10 days in jail, had his license suspended for a year and required 60 hours community service for OVI second offense and a lanes violation.

Steven T. Malone, 23, Endley Road, Lisbon, was fined $700, had his license suspended for 180 days, was ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and lane violations.

Ashley Marie Foster, 28, Bethel Park, Pa., was fined $100 for failure to control. An OVI first offense citation was dismissed.

A May 9 pretrial was set for Kevin A. Gregory, 25, Pancake Clarkson Road, Negley, charged with domestic violence for allegedly telling Robbie Angus he was going to cut his throat in his sleep on April 4.

A May 23 pretrial was set for Jodie L. Harris, 34, Grant Street, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense and improper/expired registration.

A June 2 pretrial was set for Monica S. and Justin A. Cosma, 42, Bricker Farms Lane, Salem, cited with failure to file a return or pay income taxes in 2008-2014.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Shannon L. Cunning, 39, State Street, New Waterford, cited with driving under FRA suspension and a turn signals violation.

A June 30 pretrial was set for Timothy M. Tonkinson, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with animals running at large after his dog reportedly squeezed through a hole in the fence on April 12. The dog was confiscated.

Christina M. Bias, 35, Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, was fined $250, required 20 hours community service, credited with a day served in jail and sentenced to nine additional days for obstructing official business for lying to deputies attempting to serve a warrant for someone.

Craig Allen Homic, 58, Cape Coral, Fla, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Tam T. Hua, 31, Monaca, Pa., was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from a red light violation.

Cody L. Jones, 26, Mill Street, Salineville, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct for grabbing and shoving a person listed only as Mr. Wallen, as well as attempting to stop Wallen from calling police or leaving the house on Feb. 1.

A citation of driver’s view and control to be unobstructed by load or person was dismissed against Dale J. Cagey, 57, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, who had been accused of opening the door of a vehicle into the street before it was safe to do so.

Toni Jean James, 38, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $300 and required 30 hours community service for use of an unauthorized plate and failure to reinstate a license.

Paul J. Meyers, 40, Bank Street, Salem, was fined $200, required 40 hours community service and credited with three days in jail for assault for striking Amy Haines leaving a large bruise and bump under her eye on Feb. 27.

Amy Jo Haines, 24, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $200, required 40 hours community service and credited with a day in jail for assault for striking Paul Meyers in the mouth, cutting his lip, and choking him around his throat on Feb. 27.

Tammy L. Johnson, 48, East High Street, Salineville, was fined $180 for a non-compliance suspension and a stop sign violation.

Christopher B. Durk, 20, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of drug paraphernalia for a bag containing marijuana remnants.

Feran L. Pivovarnik, 22, Steubenville, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Christopher Armentrout, 29, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

William P. Marino, 68, Vero Beach, Fla., was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Paul Arthur Crawford, 50, Bandy Road, Homeworth, was fined $100 for speeding.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Brett J. Young, 29, West North Avenue, East Palestine, charged with theft for allegedly taking two cartons of Newport cigarettes from the East Palestine Circle K at 3:35 a.m. April 13, by asking the clerk for an item not on the roller grill and then going behind the counter while she was in the back getting the item. The two cartons were valued at nearly $140 total.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Anna L. Robinson, 50, Walnut Street, Salem, cited with resisting arrest for allegedly refusing to be handcuffed, pulling away from police and refusing to be fingerprinted on Friday.

An April 28 pretrial was set for Joseph J. Pahanish, 22, state Route 644, Salineville, charged with domestic violence after getting into an argument with his father and mother and when his sister, Monica Allison stepped in, Pahanish allegedly placed her into a choke hold until his mother yelled at him to release her on Saturday.

A May 2 pretrial was set for Randy D. Williams, 28, Lisbon Dungannon Road, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting his live-in girlfriend’s son in the face, leaving bruises on Friday.

A May 17 pretrial was set for Jennifer J. Kesby, 40, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and improper backing.

A June 7 pretrial was set for Sandra G. Butcher, 63, Rose Drive, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Aleah A. Good, 24, Prospect Street extension, Salem, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly pawning an X-box Elite at Game Stop last April, an item stolen from a West Wilson Street address.

A citation of no license against Amber K. Minear, 34, East Summit Street, Alliance, was dismissed after it was found she was valid.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Rhea G. Lane III, 62, Laughlin Mill Road, Lisbon, was fined $350, credited with two days in jail and required 50 hours community service for theft and disorderly conduct amended from aggravated menacing. Lane, who was stumbling along the edge of state Route 172, reportedly lifted his shirt as if to pull a weapon and said “I said, move on” to a deputy on March 19. He had a poster in the waistband, which was stolen from the Guilford Lake Grill.

Koty A. Claypool, 22, 17th Street, Wellsville, was fined $500, credited with two days in jail and sentenced to eight days additional for complicity to theft and theft. Claypool was one of three people caught shoplifting $301 in merchandise from the Salem Walmart on Oct. 12 and was the driver when Karen A. Dicenzi was shoplifting again on Nov. 2.

Shawn M. Cunningham, 28, 17th Street, Wellsville, was fined $250, credited with seven days served and sentenced to an additional 173 days for theft. He was one of three people caught shoplifting $301 in merchandise from the Salem Walmart on Oct. 12.

Daniel S. Schultz, 61, Y Camp Road, East Liverpool, was fined $400, had his license suspended for six months and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension, possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substances and possession of drugs.

Terry L. Carson, 21, East Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $300 and required 30 hours community service for underage consumption.

Elizabeth J. Dillon, 57, Pancake-Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $280, credited with six days served in jail and required 40 hours community service for a registration violation and driving under suspension, a third offense within three years.

Ronnie Clemens, 55, McCann Road, Kensington, was fined $250 and credited with seven days served for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for punching Kimberly Clemens numerous times in the face and then throwing her from a moving vehicle on Nov. 19.

Nathaniel L. Mango, 26, Summers Avenue, East Rochester, waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be returned to Pennsylvania where he was wanted for failure to appear. Mango was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and open container.

James E. Dyke, 24, Dutchtown School Road, Rogers, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Christopher Rozier, 24, Youngstown, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from possession of marijuana.

Mason Larkins, 27, Beloit Snodes Road, Beloit, was fined $130 for failure to reinstate and a seat belt violation.

Nicole Marie Scott, 32, Ashtabula, was fined $100 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.

Brittany N. Toothman, 29, Columbia Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Marlon Ivery, 33, Akron, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Michael Cochron, 52, Sunset Court, Lisbon, was fined $200 and required 50 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension.

A June 7 pretrial was set for Frederick Alvin VanDyke, 53, Market Street, Lisbon, cited with failure to reinstate a license.

A May 26 pretrial was set for Robert R. Vecchio, 51, state Route 164, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly stealing a 24-ounce can of Milwaukee Best from Smith Oil on April 4 and attempting to do so again on April 9.

A driving under suspension citation against Jawna Stokes, 34, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was dismissed because the suspension was in error.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, an April 21 preliminary hearing was set for Travis L. Weese, 41, Walnut Street, Rogers, charged with carrying a concealed weapon for allegedly having a tactical knife with a five-inch blade strapped to his ankle when deputies responded to a possible domestic dispute on Thursday. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

A June 6 pretrial was set for Logan J. Stancato, 18, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly stealing from the Circle K on East State Street, Salem, on Wednesday. When his backpack was searched, police allegedly found merchandise totaling $41 – two Sour Punch candy packs, a Sour Patch kids candy, a Honey Bun, a pack of Starbursts, five packs of string cheese, a pack of Cheez-its, two cookies, two hotdogs and two taquitos. Stancato reportedly told Salem police he took the items because he was hungry.

Karen A. Dicenzi, 22, 17th Street, Wellsville, was credited with two days in jail, sentenced to eight additional days in jail, fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for two counts of theft. On Dec. 13, 2015, Dicenzi was one of three people caught selecting items at the Salem Walmart and shoplifting them, taking between them a total of $301 in merchandise. The three also reportedly teamed up to shoplift again, less than $1,000 in merchandise on Nov. 2, when clothes with the tags still on them were recovered.

William R. Hissom, 45, Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $875, credited with a day served in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days, required three days in counseling and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, lane violations and disorderly conduct amended from resisting arrest for pulling away from a state trooper attempting to place him under arrest and attempting to strike him with his fist.

Daniel A. Hostetter, 59, Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, was fined $400, had his license suspended for 180 days, ordered three-day counseling and required 20 hours community service for expired license, a stop sign violation and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

Stephen Vishak, 22, state Route 518, Lisbon, was fined $280 and required 60 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

Cierra M. Platter, 28, Youngstown, was fined $280 and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Charles P. Schenck, 54, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $280, required to attend a three-day counseling program, had his license suspended for six months and ordered 30 hours community service for a seat belt violation and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

Kaley M. Branole, 25, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $280 and required 10 hours community service for no license and a seat belt violation.

Jamie L. Miller, 40, Pancake Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Maalik A. Guthrie, 20, Akron, was fined $150 and required 15 hours community service for speeding, his third moving violation in 12 months.

Ashleigh R. Perry, 33, Anderson Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $150 for a miscellaneous wildlife violation for buying, selling or offering to sell a whitetailed deer or part of one.

Zachery T. Moore, 24, Darlington, Pa., was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for use of an unauthorized plate.

W. Lavonne Morrison, 67, Toronto, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

A May 16 pretrial was set for Tiffany L. Ulbrick, 33, East Fifth Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking $498 from a Lisbon McDonald’s cash register on Oct. 30, 2015.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Deirdre E. Steiginga, 50, Walnut Grove Lane, New Waterford, cited with driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

A June 9 pretrial was set for Lindsey Rae Willard, 28, Lexington Avenue, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting from Family Dollar on March 26 by placing items into her diaper bag.

Michael F. Lewis, 32, Caldwell Avenue, Lisbon, pleaded to two counts of theft for allegedly taking a bottle of cough medicine from Rite Aid in Lisbon on both March 28 and again on March 30. A sentencing hearing was set for April 21.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Charles John Hawkins, 27, Bethesda Road, Hanoverton, was fined $330, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for failure to control, a seat belt violation and reckless operation second offense amended from OVI first offense.

John M. Deem, 22, Steubenville Pike, Hammondsville, was fined $25 for an equipment violation amended from no license.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, John D. Gbur, 48, last known address Park Avenue, Salem, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a domestic violence charge for allegedly, on March 26, throwing hot candle wax all over the face and into the eyes of Casey Rohaley, his ex-girlfriend, whom he has a child with. Two additional domestic violence charges against Gbur were dismissed. Gbur had been accused of fighting with his first cousin while intoxicated on Jan. 29 and 30, causing his cousin to fall down the cellar stairs and made multiple threats he was going to shoot and kill both his cousin and his own girlfriend when he gets out of jail.

Marci M. Mancuso-Kirkpatrick, 31, Columbia Street, Leetonia, was bound over to the grand jury on a tampering with evidence charge after she was found to have a crack pipe, which was discovered when she was X-rayed at Salem Regional Medical Center the night of her arrest on April 3.

Charles H. Riffle Jr., 59, Center Street, Wellsville, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, fined $1,150, had his license suspended for a year and required 60 hours community service for OVI first offense, physical control, possession of marijuana and open container.

Melissa K. Johnson, 23, state Route 644, Kensington, was fined $925, sentenced to 10 days in jail, had her license suspended for a year and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense and speeding.

Anthony R. Ensell, 35, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $725, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and speeding.

Steven J. Paul, 48, Buffalo Road, Kensington, was fined $500, had his license suspended for 90 days and required 30 hours community service for physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Travis J. Runyon, 27, Hartley Road, Salem, was fined $400 and credited with a day served in jail for obstructing official business and persistent disorderly conduct. On Nov. 18, Runyon was intoxicated and had a head injury, but ran from an EMT Ambulance causing Salem police to chase him down. A May 2 restitution hearing was set due to a police radio damaged while trying to detain him.

Wilber Miller, 42, Bell Road, Lisbon, was fined $320 and credited with three days served in jail for failure to reinstate a license, expired registration, fictitious plates, driving under suspension, speeding and a seat belt violation.

Tina L. Smith, 40, Salineville Road, Salineville, was fined $300, credited with a day served, ordered to serve an additional day in jail for wrongful entrustment and theft after shoplifting two packs of Reese’s Cups and a pack of Three Musketeers totaling about $3 from the Dollar General in Salineville on Feb. 16.

Matthew A. Barr, 25, Warren, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for possession of drugs. Barr had three pills later tested and found to be alprazolam in his backpack on Aug. 24.

William G. Wildman, 42, Clewell Drive, Salem, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Ryan A. Dotson, 30, Carey Road, Salem, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Amy Jo Beery, 37, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $250 and required 10 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Francine L. Pimentel, 52, East School Street, Salem, was fined $200 and sentenced to 30 days in jail for obstructing official business for turning in false community service hours in January.

Scott E. Arter, 50, West High Street, Lisbon, was fined $200 for having weapons while intoxicated. He was further ordered not to possess any firearms during his probation and his Beretta .25 caliber automatic handgun was ordered destroyed.

Craig M. Randolph, 31, Nickle Road, Salineville, was fined $200 for speeding in a school zone.

Taylor Brook Louis Troup, 19, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and required 10 hours community service for speeding in a school zone.

Michael R. Crallie, 63, Canton, was fined $180 for no license and a seat belt violation.

Keith D. Shupp Jr., 19, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $175 and had his license suspended for six month for two counts of possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substances.

Charles John Hawkins, 27, Bethesda Road, Hanoverton, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia.

Richard Pruneda, 33, Baytown, Texas, was fined $150 for and equipment violation amended from a stop sign violation.

Michael R. Parker II, 24, Latta Road, East Palestine, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana.

Craig M. Cross, 32, East Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia.

Jessica E. Knechtel, 25, Ellwood City, Pa., was fined $100 for expired license and a traffic control device violation.

Ronald D. Lacey, 49, Freeman Road, Lisbon, was ordered to pay restitution to East of Chicago Pizza in the amount of $82 within the next 90 days for a previous passing bad checks conviction.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Trevor Heiney, 26, Broadway, Wellsville, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on charges of OVI third offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, driving under OVI suspension, use of an unauthorized plate, stop sign violation and failure to comply. Heiney allegedly refused to stop for the Highway Patrol on April 3 on state Route 7, then eventually jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot. He exited the car while it was still in drive and it rolled backward into the cruiser driven by Sgt. Barry Thompson. Heiney pleaded no contest to open container and was not fined.

Marci M. Mancuso-Kirkpatrick, 31, Columbia Street, Leetonia, was fined $355 and sentenced to 30 days in jail for driving under suspension, speeding, stop sign and a seat belt violation.

Brittany Hacker, 22, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was fined $280 and required 10 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

A May 10 pretrial was set for Bailey for allegedly violating a temporary protection order by calling Sheren Stierwalt numerous times and during one call in September threatening to show up and kill her and her children.

Jeffrey A. Graffius, 37, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $200 for driving under FRA suspension.

Jordan L. Smeltzer, 29, Depot Street, Salem, was fined $200 and ordered to attend anger management for menacing and disorderly conduct while intoxicated for threatening staff at the Salem Regional Medical Center when he was there on Dec. 6 for being disorderly.

Andrew P. Snyder, 26, Canton, was fined $180 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Brandon M. Diddle, 35, Hammondsville Road, Wellsville, was fined $180 for no license and speeding.

Larry E. Rosenberger, 66, Knox School Road, Minerva, was fined $150 for speed.

Spencer Biser, 25, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $130 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Tarel A. Barnette, 31, Austintown, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.

An April 14 pretrial was set for Koty A. Claypool, 22, 17th Street, Wellsville, charged with complicity to commit theft and theft for allegedly being part of a group which allegedly shoplifted about $301 in merchandise from the Walmart in Salem on Oct. 12, and then again with co-defendant Karen A. Dicenzi, was allegedly involved in the shoplifting of additional merchandise on Nov. 2.

An April 14 pretrial was set for Dicenzi, 21, 17th Street, Wellsville, also charged with theft for the shoplifting on Oct. 12.

An April 18 pretrial was set for Margaret L. Rosnagel, 56, Main Street, Wellsville, charged with obstructing official business for telling police the person they were looking for was no longer at the house on Sunday.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Cynthia L. Masters, 39, Buck Road, Beloit, charged with falsification for allegedly reporting her vehicle was taken without permission when she had given Jacob Carter permission to use the vehicle.

A May 16 pretrial was set for Jearold H. Hunt Jr., 43, Shelby Street, Alliance, cited with driving under suspension.

A May 31 pretrial was set for Joseph Piscitani, 64, Calcutta Smithferry Road, East Liverpool, cited with prohibition against violations of board for allegedly refusing to comply with Columbiana County General Health District orders to secure the building and clean up solid waste and tires on a property he owns at 13277 West Point Road, Lisbon.

A May 31 pretrial was set for Kathryn A. Matheson, 21, More Street, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting about $65 in merchandise from the Salem Walmart on Sunday.

Charles H. Mutchler, 56, Scott Drive, Beloit, pleaded no contest to driving under suspension and a seat belt violation. A sentencing hearing was set for May 30.

Nicholas E. Hubbard, 25, Lynnwood Drive, Minerva, pleaded no contest to criminal trespassing for entering a home on Southeast Boulevard on Dec. 19. Sentencing was set for April 25.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Khamray J. Bonner, 23, Youngstown, and Khalis J. Collis, 20, Canton, were both bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a tampering with evidence charge. Both men are accused of removing a bag of narcotics from his groin area and providing them to another man in an attempt to hide them while they were in the booking room at the Lisbon Police Department. An obstructing official business charge against each man was also transferred to the common pleas court. The charge alleges Bonner refused to cooperate with orders by police during a raid at a Beaver Street home on March 31 and Collins allegedly gave false information to police.

Courtney L. Troyer, 24, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, was credited with three days served in jail, sentenced to an additional 57 days and required 50 hours community service for theft for attempting to steal a box of hair dye and a can of Sprite from the Dollar General in Lisbon on July 30, 2015.

Mary E. Kiehl, 31, Park Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $500, had her license suspended for 180 days, credited with 30 days in jail and sentenced to an additional 60 days for possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Feb. 10 Kiehl was found to have a metal spoon with residue and soot marks, two used hypodermic syringes, a glass pipe with residue, two butane lighters and a tie off inside the pocket of the coat she was wearing, along with another glass pipe and lighter in a bag inside the vehicle she had been riding in.

Melanie D. Paulin, 38, Sharp Street, Salem, was fined $350, sentenced to 180 days in jail and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of a drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia. Paulin had a syringe, a metal pipe and a spoon with residue at her home on March 16.

Steven A. Shannon, 45, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, was fined $210 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia, speeding, no license and a seatbelt violation.

Ashley M. Aguilera, 25, Richmond, was fined $200, credited with seven days served, sentenced to an additional 23 days and required 50 hours community service for theft for shoplifting $49 in merchandise from Walmart in Salem on March 30.

Dani J. Blackstone, 57, Main Street, Wellsville, was fined $130 and had licenses suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession and a seat belt violation.

Nicole L. Hamilton, 37, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $150 and credited with nine days served in jail for passing bad checks.

Kevin E. Kirby, 41, West Railroad Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension.

Kevin Joel Casanova Rivera, 21, Struthers, was fined $150 for no license.

Spencer Biser, 25, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $130 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Tricia Ann Watson, 32, Jones Drive, Salem, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and a registration violation.

A June 2 pretrial was set for Joshua E. Ware, 34, East Ohio Avenue, Sebring, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – An April 14 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Kasey L. Helisek, 22, last known address Wallace Road, East Palestine, charged with notice of residence address change after deputies allegedly learned on March 21 Helisek was no longer living at the home on Wallace Road, East Palestine, where he was currently registered. When Helisek returned to the sheriff’s office for his registration on April 4, he again claimed to be living at the home on Wallace Road. However, deputies were able to determine he has reportedly been staying on East Highland Avenue, East Palestine. Helisek is required to register as a Tier I sex offender due to a conviction for gross sexual imposition of a victim under 13.

Samuel F. Masters Jr., 39, Main Street, Wellsville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a charge of notice of residence address change. Masters allegedly was told on March 2 he could not move to a Main Street, Wellsville, address because it was too close to a school. Then on March 25 deputies went to verify he was still living at a Peake Street, Wellsville, address he had registered and reportedly found it to be vacant. Instead it was determined Masters had moved into the other home with his girlfriend the beginning of March. He is required to a Tier II sex offender due to a previous conviction for sexual battery.

Jeremaine N. Lewis, 27, Sherman Street, Lisbon, was bound over to the grand jury after Judge Chris Amato found sufficient evidence Lewis may have committed a tampering with evidence charge. Lewis allegedly placed two bags of narcotics up his rectum while he was in the booking room of the Lisbon police department. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, for an alleged crack pipe, was also transferred along with the felony tampering with evidence charge.

Nicholas P. Crookston, 28, Elboron Avenue, Salem, was fined $250, credited with 12 days in jail and sentenced to serve an additional day in jail for domestic violence for assaulting his estranged wife, Bobby Crookston, on Feb. 25.

Nathan J. Andreas, 41, North Canton, was fined $280 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

An April 14 pretrial was set for Thomas R. Hughes, 28, Richardson Street, Negley, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing things and breaking things around the house, then allegedly grabbing Amber McKabb by the hair and neck causing swelling and chunks of hair to be ripped out on Wednesday.

A May 9 pretrial was set for Dewey W. Bunnell, 25, Hammond Park Road, Wellsville, charged with driving under suspension.

A May 12 pretrial was set for Michael R. Mellinger, 46, West Middletown Road, Beloit, cited with OVI second offense and speeding.

A May 16 pretrial was set for Nicholas R. Hull, 25, Kingsridge Road, East Liverpool, cited with driving under FRA suspension and failure to transfer of registration of a vehicle.

A May 19 pretrial was set for Mario V. Graziani, 18, Youngstown, cited with possession of marijuana.

A May 24 pretrial was set for Travis S. Faulkner, 27, Columbia Street, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.

A driving under suspension citation against Julian Bowers, 22, Youngstown, was dismissed after it was determined Bowers is fully legal and was not properly notified of the suspension.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – William Vandyke II, 51, state Route 45, Wellsville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Columbiana County Municipal Court and was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of domestic violence for allegedly grabbing Shelda Keefer by the shirt, putting his fingers in her eyes and grabbing her by the neck on March 3. Vandyke was fined $100 for no license.

An April 11 preliminary hearing was set for Marci M. Mancuso-Kirkpatrick, 31, Columbia Street, Leetonia, charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly concealing a crack pipe during a fight with police on Sunday. The pipe allegedly was visible when she was X-rayed at Salem Regional Medical Center. A pretrial was also set for April 11 for charges of driving under FRA suspension, speeding, traffic control devices and a seat belt violation.

Melissa M. Demeo, 55, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for wrongful entrustment.

Robert C. Cochran Jr., 53, St. Jacob-Logtown Road, Lisbon, was ordered to serve the remaining 33 days of his jail sentence immediately and fined $100 during a review hearing for a previous theft conviction.

Gary G. Young, Lake Milton, was fined $850, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail and required 50 hours community service for OVI first offense and speeding.

Cheryl A. Newhouse, 58, Lisbon Road, Salem, was fined $725, required three days counseling and had her license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and marked lanes.

Brandon E. Hacker, 23, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was credited with 10 days served, had his license suspended for 180 days and fined $400 for failure to comply, marijuana possession, no license and a stop sign violation.

Rebecca S. Lucas, 47, state Route 7, New Waterford, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Karen S. Brandonisio, 62, was fined $200, credited with two days served in jail and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for punching, scratching and kicking Ronald Brandonisio in Alliance on Feb. 21.

Jeffrey D. Banister, 63, state Route 45, Wellsville, was fined $100 and credited with a day served in jail for domestic violence for pushing his wife, Karen, down, injuring her back and then stomping on her head and feet on March 21.

James D. Soliday, 24, Bayard Road, Minerva, was fined $125 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and improper backing.

Michael J. Clarkson, 26, Lisbon-Canfield Road, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.

A June 20 pretrial was set for Jennifer N. Whaley, 35, Maplewood Drive, Columbiana, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – An April 11 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for John D. Gbur, 48, Park Avenue, Salem, charged with three counts of domestic violence after threw candle wax into the face of Casey Rohaley, his ex-girlfriend on March 26. He is also accused of fighting with his cousin Jeffrey W. Winter on Jan. 29 and 30 causing Winter to fall down several flights of steps into the basement and making multiple threats to get his 9mm handgun and shoot both his cousin and his girlfriend. Gbur has thee previous domestic violence convictions.

Stephen Philippi, 43, Canton, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury for scrap metal and merchandise container dealers. The charge came after Columbiana police reportedly found approximately 400 to 500 pounds of burnt wire and cable wire in the rear seating and trunk areas of a vehicle during a traffic stop on Tuesday. Philippi reportedly told police he was on his way to Pennsylvania to scrap the wire. The charge is a fifth-degree felony. A June 7 pretrial was set in municipal court for Phillippi for charges of possession of marijuana and failure to display a valid sticker.

Sarah A. Muirhead, 34, Rochester Road, Kensington, was fined $755, had her license suspended for six months, was sentenced to three days in counseling and required 50 hours community service for OVI first offense, assured clear distance and a seat belt violation.

Robert L. Walters, 39, McCracken Road, Salem, was fined $500, had his license suspended for 180 days, ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for physical control.

David Trimble, 50, Winona Road, Salem, was fined $200, credited with a day in jail and ordered 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from obstruction of justice for telling police the person they were looking for with a warrant on Jan. 7 does not live there and does not visit. Then the next day, he reported the person had just gotten home, when they learned the person had been home the whole time.

Tasha L. McCluskey, 25, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, required 40 hours community service, fined $200 and allowed no companion animals for prohibitions regarding companion animals. A dog, accidentally run over by a vehicle, was then allowed to lay in the driveway for several days to a week, depending on the account, without medical treatment in October.

Lynn V. Hogan, 51, Canton, was sentenced to 45 days in jail and fined $250 for obstruction of official business for falsifying community service records.

Jeremy C. Woods, 26, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $200 for driving under suspension. An improper registration citation was dismissed.

Samantha Jo Monroe, 25, Shadyside, was fined $325, had her license suspended for 180 days and was credited with 14 days in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to reinstate a license and speeding.

Amanda L. Hudson, 31, East Summit Street, Alliance, was fined $150, credited with a day in jail and required 30 hours community service for assault for headbutting Vickie Greenfield on March 24.

Kayla Marie McCune, 20, Boquet Street, Negley, was fined $130 for failure to control, a seat belt violation and possession of instruments to ingest or inhale controlled substances. Her license was suspended for 180 days.

Tesa Beery, 37, Vine Street, Salem, was fined $125 for dog at large and failure to register a dog. She fictitious plate citation was dismissed because Beery was the passenger in the vehicle.

Jerrell R. Jeter, 31, Baum Street, East Liverpool, was fined $120 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and marked lanes.

Kari Lynn Armstrong, 19, West State Street, Salem, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Bobbi Jo Fisher, 37, Hill Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Kayla E. Macklin, 28, Lexington Avenue, Salem, was credited with a day served, required 30 hours community service and fined $150 for disorderly conduct for kicking a car door and yelling in the parking lot of the New Waterford Fire Department.

An April 11 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Trevor Heiney, 26, Broadway, Wellsville, charged with a felony failure to comply and cited with OVI third offense, driving under OVI suspension, use of an unauthorized plate, stop sign violation and open container.

A May 2 pretrial was set for Brandon M. O’Malley, 22, Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman, cited with physical control and possession of marijuana.

A May 5 pretrial was set for Marci M. Mancuso-Kirkpatrick, 31, Columbia Street, Leetonia, charged with resisting arrest after she was taken into custody on a warrant and swung her arms about, at one point striking a Salem police officer in the side of the head.

A May 9 pretrial was set for Anthony Allen Hiles, 47, Sandy Spring Road, Minerva, cited with OVI first offense and marked lanes.

A May 19 pretrial was set for Caleb D. Kountz, 19, Nicolas Avenue, charged with assault for allegedly grabbing Abby Wilks, throwing her to the ground and punching her in the head.

A May 24 pretrial was set for Wade E. Tookes, 44, Ambrose Avenue, East Liverpool, cited with OVI first offense, driving under suspension and speeding.

A May 24 pretrial was set for Leslie R. Young, 48, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI second offense and lane violations.

A June 7 pretrial was set for Joshua M. Manypenny, 37, state Route 164, Lisbon ,charged with assault for allegedly grabbing Ashley Hawkins by her face and pushing her onto the bed on Feb. 22.

Courtney L. Troyer, 24, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, pleaded no contest to theft for attempting to shoplift a box of hair dye and a can of Sprite in her purse at the Dollar General on July 30, 2015. Sentencing is set for April 7.

Tonia L. Gearin, 35, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, pleaded no contest to dogs at large, a subsequent offense. Sentencing was set for May 2. She has been previously convicted of the same charge in 2010, twice in 2011 and twice in 2016.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – Neal C. Brownsword, 31, West Perry Street, Salem, waived his right to an extradition hearing in Columbiana County Municipal Court so he can be returned to Florida where he has a warrant for an aggravated battery charge in Seminole County.

An April 7 preliminary hearing was set for Samuel F. Masters Jr., 39, West Main Street, Wellsville, charged with failure to file notice of residence address change after he reportedly moved into the home with his girlfriend in early March despite being told he could not move there on March 2 because it was too close to a school. Masters is reportedly a Tier II sex offender after being convicted of a sexual battery charge.

David J. Mathes, 24, Creek Road, New Waterford, was credited with 16 days served, sentenced to an additional 164 days, fined $2,125 and had his license suspended for a year for two counts of both OVI first offense and driving under suspension, along with charges of left of center and receiving stolen property for selling jewelry belonging to his grandmother, Barbara Reinhart, at the East Liverpool Cashland in order to buy drugs on Sept. 21.

Richard Aaron Sell, 57, Maple Street, Rogers, was fined $200, credited with a day served and ordered to attend counseling for public indecency. Sell, while intoxicated on March 24, came out of his shed, nearly naked and began to publicly masturbate in daylight.

Timothy M. Tonkinson, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was found guilty of cruelty to animals and permitting his dog to run loose. He was fined $200, required 25 hours community service and ordered to pay to have the dog “Princess” spayed or neutered, inoculated and a chip implanted prior to the dog being returned. The dog was reportedly running loose and had health issues from poor nutrition on Jan. 19.

Cash Dwayne Ritchie, 23, Hubbard, was fined $350, had his license suspended for six months and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia for a glass smoking pipe.

Michael Allan Cochran Jr., 22, Sunset Drive, Lisbon, was fined $300 and required 15 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

Christopher M. Benson, 40, Fair Avenue, Salem, was fined $300 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving under a 12-point suspension and speeding.

Benjamin Charles Hawk, 45, state Route 644, Kensington, was fined $280 and ordered 10 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license and a seat belt violation.

Amanda L. Gutierrez, 34, Arch Street, Salem, was fined $250 credited with three days in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from assault for yanking a 15-year-old girl down by her hair and forcefully slamming her onto the concrete sidewalk, pursuing her into the street and yelling in her face on Jan. 27.

Nyasia Buzzard, 22, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension. A May 12 pretrial was set for Buzzard for a speeding citation.

Heather M. Kirby, 22, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $250 and required 10 hours community service for speeding.

Harold C. Vance, 58, Carrollton, was fined $250 for speeding in a school zone.

Joshua David Allen Shaw, 19, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $250 for failing to stop for a stopped school bus.

Kimberly I. Mutersbaugh, 50, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $150, credited with five days served and required 40 hours community service for theft for taking a wallet from a purse at the Faith Chapel Fellowship on Aug. 8.

Russell J. Saadey III, 33, Youngstown, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Melinda R. Peterson, 24, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $150, required 20 hours community service and credited with one day served in jail for disorderly conduct for yelling and cursing at her boyfriend and police despite being warned to stop on Dec. 13.

Kayla Bowyer, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $125 for a tail lights violation amended from speeding.

Brittany N. Conner, 23, Laurel, Md., was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Daniel M. Maxon, 33, North Park Avenue, Alliance, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Kristen N. Presley, 21, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for criminal damaging for kicking the car door of Annette Ice at the Y-Inn bar in Rogers on July 23.

An April 7 pretrial was set for Ashley M. Aquilera, 25, Richmond, charged with theft for allegedly going to Walmart in Salem on Wednesday evening and attempting to shoplift nearly $49 in merchandise.

An April 28 pretrial was set for William H. Martin, 43, North Market Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense.

A May 19 pretrial was set for Carl D. Cranston, Calla Road, Beloit, cited with failure to pay taxes in Salem in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2009, 2010 and 2011, although he has filed the income tax returns.

Nicole L. Richter, 42, East Main Street, Salineville, pleaded no contest to failure to confine dogs after a 10-year-old child was bitten on the hand at Kiwanis Park by her dog after she let the dog off leash to play with the children on March 16. Sentencing is set for April 28.

Donald E. Picknell, 61, Lowmiller Road, Minerva, pleaded no contest to theft for cutting and taking wood from an old barn on Myers Road, Kensington on March 19. A sentencing hearing was set for April 25.
