MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – A Sept. 6 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Jordan L. Gainer, 28, last known address Morton Street, East Liverpool, charged with robbery for allegedly punching Robert Shirey in the face, knocking him to the ground when Shirey refused to give him $20. While Gainer was assaulting Shirey on the ground, Shirey reportedly reached for an unloaded shotgun in the corner. Allegedly, co-defendant Keisha D. Pearson took between $400 and $500 out of Shirey’s pocket and Gainer took the shotgun and ran out the door.

Justin J. Schneider, 25, Dunn Road, East Liverpool, was bound over to the grand jury on a possession of a controlled substance charge for allegedly having a smoking device with residue of cocaine in it on Aug. 22.

Randy L. Slutz, 35, Magnolia, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for possession of marijuana. He will be sentenced on Oct. 13 on additional citations of driving under suspension, speeding and a seat belt violation.

Joshua K. Voigt, 27, Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, was fined $200 for a miscellaneous wildlife violation for killing a deer first and then purchasing the tag.

An Oct. 13 pretrial was set for Joshua D. Vishak, 41, Y Camp Road, Lisbon, cited with criminal damaging for allegedly grabbing and breaking Tera Willoughby’s phone while she was recording him refusing to give her back their daughter on Saturday.

Quinten L. Meadows, 22, Canton, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Melonie B. Copen, 32, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, was fined $200, credited with 13 days served and sentenced to an additional seven days in jail for domestic violence.

Bernard R. Tunno, 72, Canfield, was fined $150 for speeding.

Angela Wandle, 41, Ridge Road, East Rochester, was fined $100 for speeding.

Reha Rabbani, 18, North Park Circle, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for speeding.

Tyler L. Morrison, 18, East Fourth Street, Salem, pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing and a sentencing hearing was set for Sept. 1. Morrison was found on the roof of BoneShakers restaurant on East Pershing Street on Friday.

Lisa D. Dalesandro, 52, last known address South Arch Avenue, Alliance, pleaded no contest to theft for collecting money to assist the family of a young murder victim in paying for the funeral and other related expenses on April 4, but then not giving the money to the family. Sentencing is set for Sept. 1.

A Sept. 1 pretrial was set for Jerrell R. Jeter, 31, Baum Street, East Liverpool, cited with driving under suspension and speeding.

A Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Kaleb E. Simpson, 26, state Route 7, New Waterford, cited with OVI first offense and a turn signals violation.

An Oct. 3 pretrial was set for Teresa S. Cassinger, 39, South Howard Street, Salem, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly puncturing four tires, breaking the windshield and both mirrors on Brad Martin’s vehicle; breaking the mirror on a vehicle registered to Billie A. Cross; and slashing the flooring and netting of a trampoline, as well as two swings belonging to Elizabeth Cross on July 31.

An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Matthew D. Kern, 34, state Route 558, Leetonia, cited with OVI first offense and driving in violation of a driving restriction.

Jeremy H. Johnson, 39, Sunset Drive, Alliance, was fined $980, required a three-day counseling program, had his license suspended for six months and required 60 hours community service for OVI first offense, failure to control, driving under FRA suspension and use of an unauthorized plate.

Nyasia J. Buzzard, 23,14th Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for speeding.

An Oct. 6 pretrial was set for Sean A. Little, 45, Woodale Road, Hanoverton, cited with use of an unauthorized plate, failure to reinstate a license and a seat belt violation.

Carlos J. Mejia, 33, Thomas Street, East Palestine, was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months, was required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and two headlights displayed.

Michael F. McPhillen, 40, Midvale, pleaded no contest to domestic violence for threatening to kill Brandy Lee and slit her throat on Sunday. A Sept. 1 sentencing hearing was set.

Larry W. Armes Jr., 27, South Egypt Road, Salem, was fined $300 and required 40 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license and failure to control.

Anthony D. Jackson, 34, Youngstown, was fined $300, required 40 hours community service, credited with a day in jail and had his license suspended for six months for obstructing official business and possession of drugs for lying to police investigating a report of suspicious drug activity at the Days Inn on Aug. 20, 2015.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Corey A. Snay, 22, South Union Avenue, Salem, was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of possession of controlled substance for allegedly having methamphetamines in his vehicle on June 10.

A Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Patrick J. Post Sr., 54, Taylor Road, Negley, charged with domestic violence and criminal damaging. Post allegedly threw the cordless phone at the sliding glass door, threw apples across the living room, picked up a chair and threw it across the kitchen table, knocked over the water cooler, breaking the drywall behind the cooler, threw tomatoes, picked up a box of dishes and threw them at his ex-wife Barbara Post, threw a bowl of cherry tomatoes at her and pushed the rear of her vehicle with the front of her vehicle moving it six to eight feet all reportedly because she refused to buy him beer.

A Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Frank Z. Guillard, 52, North Lima, cited with domestic violence for allegedly striking his wife, by striking her in the center of her chest with the bottom of his fist while delivering papers on Sunday on Stanton Avenue in Columbiana.

A Sept. 22 pretrial was set for Austin R. Young, 21, Vine Street, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.

A Sept. 29 pretrial was set for Jeremy C. Allen, 25, Ansley Road, Alliance, cited with obstructing official business for allegedly giving Salem police a false identity and date of birth on Sunday.

A Sept. 29 sentencing hearing was set for Judith A. Hellem, 51, Roosevelt Avenue, Salem, who pleaded no contest to return and payment of tax for not paying Salem taxes seven straight years from 2009 through 2015.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, David Heddleston, 41, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be retunred to Pennsylvania where he is accused of failing to pay fines.

Jennifer A. Szwagulak, 38, North Ridgeville, was fined $280 and required 15 hours community service for driving under suspension and marked lanes.

Kasondra B. Gonzalez Lopez, 29, Hawley Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and required 15 hours of community service for driving under suspension.

Jenny L. Isaacs, 44, Fair Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Heather Hairhoger, 32, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, was fined $250 and required 15 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A Sept. 6 pretrial was set for Roger C. Mullett, 28, West Fourth Street, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly striking Candace Clarkson, chipping her tooth, on Thursday.

A Sept. 15 pretrial was set for Amanda M. Swanson, 27, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, charged with making false alarms for allegedly reported her vehicle stolen from her home on Aug. 14, by going to the Salem police department on Aug. 15. Her vehicle had been involved in a crash on Aug. 14, which she claimed to know nothing about but later, on Aug. 19 admitted she knew the man who crashed it and she listened to friends who told her to report it stolen.

A Sept. 19 pretrial was set for Todd Allen Kirtley, 28, Rose Drive, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly harming Jay Farrow by punching him with his fist and causing a cut to the bridge of his nose on Friday.

An Oct. 20 pretrial was set for Bryan L. Cooper, 34, Railroad Street, Hanoverton, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

Sheila L. Johnson, 55, West Washington Street, Lisbon, pleaded no contest to theft for taking a gas can containing five gallons of gas from the property of Martha Oliver and attempted to pour it into her 1971 Chevy, but spilled it onto the concrete floor of the garage on Monday. A sentencing hearing was set for Sept. 19.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Mack D. Griffin, 25, East Cleveland, was bound over to the grand jury on a trafficking in drugs charge. Griffin is accused of having more than twice the bulk amount of fentanyl in a home on state Route 45 in Glasgow, including fentanyl which was individually packaged and a digital scale with white residue. Griffin’s bond is set at $250,000 cash or surety.

David C. Earich, 29, Jefferson Street, Salineville, was credited with 10 days served in jail, sentenced to an additional 20 days in jail, fined $300 and ordered 50 hours community service for two counts of domestic violence for pushing his mother to the ground and grabbing his sister by the throat on Aug. 16.

A Sept. 1 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Jonathan M. Collins, 25, East Canton, charged with burglary and criminal damaging for allegedly entering the home of Amanda Vrabec on U.S. Route 30, Minerva, without her permission and while she and Dylan Tiller slept on Feb. 16. Additionally, Collins alleged poured beer on Tiller, threw a beer bottle against a wall which created a hole in the drywall and grabbed a TV throwing it to the ground.

Joseph W. Castelucci, 54, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $875, had his license suspended for six months, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, possession of marijuana and driving under suspension. A lane violations citation was dismissed.

Gabriel Lerma, 35, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $200, credited with a day served in jail and required 40 hours community service for assault amended from domestic violence for grabbing Sharon Craw on Aug. 16, slamming her head into a wall.

Connie M. Rogers, 55, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $280 and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

Delmas J. Mayle II, 39, Bye Road, East Palestine, was credited with two days served, sentenced to an additional three days in jail, fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Johnny Wayne Purtee, 62, Springfield, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Kevin A. Gregory, 26, Pancake-Clarkson Road, Negley, was fined $400, credited with a day in jail and required 50 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence and for use of an unauthorized plate. Gregory told Robbie Angus on April 4 he was going to cut his throat while he slept.

Michael M. Brletich, 61, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Hunter Mitchell Wade, 22, Holly Hill, Fla., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Alyssa J. Jenkins, 36, Leisure Road NW, Minerva, was fined $100 for speeding.

Brett-Logan C. Stuchell, 25, Lambert Street, Alliance, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct amended from possession of drugs.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Leroy Stanley, 36, North Jackson, was fined $300 for failure to reinstate a license and speeding.

Kalee L. Jackson, 34, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension.

An Oct. 13 pretrial was set for Karen L. Brightwell, 54, East Main Street, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension and improper backing.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court an Aug. 29 preliminary hearing was set for Corey A. Snay, 22, South Union Avenue, Salem, charged with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having methamphetamines discovered by a K-9 during a traffic stop in Leetonia on Monday.

An Aug. 29 preliminary hearing was set for Justin J. Schneider, 25, Grayson, Ky., charged with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having a smoking device with cocaine during a traffic stop in Leetonia on Monday.

Malik R. Pullie, 19, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was bound over to the grand jury on a tampering with evidence charge for allegedly eating marijuana to hide it from police during a traffic stop on Aug. 12.

Shawn W. Timmons, 30, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $750, sentenced to 10 days in jail, had his license suspended for a year and required 50 hours community service for OVI second offense.

Michael E. McGee, 58, Canton, was sentenced to 180 days in jail for theft for stealing from Walmart with two accomplices, when McGee was the driver on Nov. 30, 2013.

Jeffrey L. Hardgrove, 46, Winona Road, Salem, was fined $810, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to six days in jail for OVI first offense, stop sign and improper registration.

Andrew J. Wright, Riffle Road, Rogers, was fined $250, credited with four days served in jail and sentenced to an additional six days for obstructing official business for providing police with false information while he was a passenger in a vehicle stopped in Leetonia on Saturday.

Johnathan McCauley, 18, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $150, credited with 13 days served in jail and required 40 hours community service for obstructing official business for telling police he was injured seriously enough to require medical treatment and his mother transported him to Salem Regional Medical Center, when the hospital had no record of him being there.

Gabriel Lerma, 35, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $280 and required 10 hours community service for no license and expired registration.

Michael W. Mastin, 55, Jefferson Street, Salineville, was fined $250 for driving under FRA suspension.

Gregory B. Weingart, 20, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 for no license.

A Sept. 27 sentencing hearing was set for Tracy M. Blair, 34, Southern Street, Negley, who pleaded no contest to driving under suspension.

An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Ryan J. Papic, 36, Elberon Avenue, Salem, cited with driving under suspension and failure to control.

An Oct. 3 pretrial was set for Donald L. Bates II, 41, Alliance Sebring Road, Alliance, cited with OVI first offense, speeding and possession of marijuana.

An Oct. 11 pretrial was set for Ryan M. Morris, 20, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, cited with driving under suspension and improper or expired registration.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court an Aug. 29 preliminary hearing was set for Keisha D. Pearson, 26, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, charged with robbery. Pearson allegedly grabbing between $400 and $500 from the pocket of Robert Shirey on the Y and O Road, Wellsville, after Jordan Gainer allegedly hit Shirey and held him down on Aug. 14.

An Aug. 29 preliminary hearing was set for Joseph M. Hartline, 32, East Fifth Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing his live-in girlfriend, Mary C. Blackmon, to the ground twice, throwing a beer at her and drawing back his hand while threatening to punch her several times while holding her by the neck on Nov. 4, 2015.

Jonathan Allen Burkholder, 34, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $350 for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

Alexa R. Mason, 21, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

Travis J. Riggs, 34, Monroeville Heights, Salineville, was fined $250, required 30 hours community service, credited with a day served in jail and sentenced to 29 additional days for possession of a drug abuse instrument.

Justin Robert Young, 26, Dalton, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail and required 30 hours community service for driving under OVI suspension.

Ronald O. Baker Jr., 44, Wood Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 for failure to reinstate a license.

Seaton I. Ruffner, 33, Union Ridge Road, Negley, was fined $200, credited with a day in jail and required 30 hours community service for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after he was allegedly found lying on the sidewalk intoxicated on July 17 and refused to cooperate with police attempting to move him from the cell in East Palestine to the county jail.

Mitchell H. Maroscher, 22, Phoenix, Ariz., was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Toby W. Wright, 29, Charlton Drive, Lisbon, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Robert L. Allen Jr., 35, Akron, was fined $30 for complicity of theft for assisting others in distracting greeters at the Salem Walmart while items were stolen by others on three dates in 2011 and 2012. A restitution hearing was set for Sept. 29.

A Sept. 1 pretrial was set for Amber N. Jones, 36, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, charged with permitting drug abuse for allegedly allowing someone to inject her friend with heroin at her home on Friday.

A Sept. 12 pretrial was set for Christopher J. Thomas, 31, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon,charged with possession of drug abuse instrument after he was allegedly found “cleaning” a syringe after using it to inject someone with heroin on Friday.

A Sept. 19 pretrial was set for Michael T. Smith, 31, New Cumberland, W.Va., cited with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and expired license.

A Sept. 22 pretrial was set for Richard D. Allen, 51, state Route 558, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening Larry Graham after he refused to get him a beer and a cigarette first thing in the morning on Sunday.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Gary L. Newton Jr., 54, Cherry Street, Washingtonville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly verbally abusing, threatening to hit and then headbutting Shannon Morrow on Friday.

A Sept. 27 pretrial was set for Yanet C. Erendira, 27, North Market Street, East Palestine, cited with no license and a child restraint violation.

A Sept.29 sentencing hearing was set for Steven R. Miranda Jr., 20, Goshen Road, Salem, who pleaded guilty to underage consumption.

An Oct. 3 pretrial was set for Julia M. Landon, 25, Columbiana-Lisbon Road, Columbiana, cited with driving in violation of a restriction and failure to display a valid sticker.

An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Bernadette Mellinger, 46, Pine Street, Columbiana, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Mark A. Thompkins, 47, East Martin Street, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Heidi Weaver, 43, Taylor Road, Negley, was fined $500 for five counts of confinement or restraint of a dog. Counts six through 16 are dismissed and Weaver is further forbidden to own any dogs at her home with the exception of her Irish Wolfhound and a seizure dog, a Jack Russell terrier. These dogs are not allowed to run at large.

A Nov. 1 pretrial was set for Henry L. Robinson, 24, Forsyth Place, East Liverpool, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for John W. Naulta Jr., 25, Newton Falls, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

An Oct. 24 pretrial was set for Chad Jacob Slagle, 44, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, cited with hit skip/leave scene and improper passing.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Connie S. Runyon, 23, Rail Road, Hanoverton, was bound over to the county grand jury for a felonious assault charge. Runyon allegedly injured Daryl W. Kibler, Mardis Road, Kensington, by striking him in the head and face with a baseball bat, attempting to stab him with a knife on Aug. 11. Deputies reportedly did not locate the bat, but did find the alleged knife, which was covered with blood. She reportedly had moved out after they broke up several weeks earlier. Runyon’s bond was reduced to a $50,000 recognizance bond.

An Aug. 25 preliminary hearing was set for Mack D. Griffin, 25, East Cleveland, charged with trafficking in drugs after a search warrant served at a Glasgow area home allegedly led to the discovery of more than twice the bulk amount of fentanyl, which was individually packaged and with another larger package and a digital scale with white residue. Court documents state there have been previous controlled purchases from Griffin in the past. Griffin’s bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety.

A Sept. 12 preliminary hearing was set for Dustin R. Morrow, 31, Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, Calcutta, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly driving in Leetonia with a license plate on his vehicle, which had been reported stolen in East Liverpool. A pretrial was also set for Morrow for citations of display false drivers license, no license, use of an unauthorized plate and speeding.

William J. Gbur, 57, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail, ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and right of way violation.

Michelle Harris, 25, West Pine Street, Lisbon, was fined $500 and required 25 hours community service for underage sale after she allowed an 18-year-old purchase a six-pack of Busch Lite, while she was employed at Valley View II on Aug. 9.

Shauna M. Thompson, 22, Monaca, Pa., was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from assault for seeking out Kiersten L. Corbin, yanking her down by the hair and beating her with her fists on April 12, 2012.

James Rogers, 54, Old Route 344, Leetonia, was fined $150, credited with two days served in jail and ordered to undergo counseling for aggravated menacing for telling a 17-year-old boy he was going to come back to the home with a van filled with dynamite and blow it up. He also reportedly threatened to blow up a pipeline behind a home, where he used to live on Woodville Road. Rogers’ defense attorney, Eric Kibler, told Judge Mark Frost that Rogers did not have any actual explosives so the threats were idle. The 17-year-old’s mother said she did not wish to see Rogers go to jail, just to get some help. Assistant County Prosecutor Don Humphrey Jr. noted the situation was “fueled by alcohol” consumption by Rogers.

Timmogene L. Howell Jr., 24, Youngstown, was fined $150 and credited with 14 days in jail for obstructing official business for clenching his mouth shut to keep a deputy from obtaining a DNA swab sample, forcing deputies to make him lie on the floor while he was biting the swab.

Shonne Dareon Cobbs, 23, Canton, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

James Argabrite, 21, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $275 and credited with five days served in jail for speeding and persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for injuries caused to his live-in girlfriend Kristy Soos, who he threw to the floor during an argument on July 30.

Travis J. Beiling, 32, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and traffic controlled devices.

Charles A. Corbett Jr., 67, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $135 for a stop sign violation and operating a cab without a properly displayed ID.

An Aug. 25 pretrial was set for Gabriel Lerma, 35, Continental Drive, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing Sharon Craw on Tuesday and slamming her head into a wall.

An Aug. 25 pretrial was set for Melonie B. Copen, 32, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing her 15-year-old daughter by the hair, punching her in the face several times, kicking her and kneeing her in the head on Tuesday.

An Oct. 6 pretrial was set for Jason Dwayne Christian, 35, Jefferson Street, East Liverpool, cited with OVI second offense and speeding.

An Oct. 10 pretrial was set for Joey N. LaFleme, 24, East Third Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking money while employed at Tim Horton’s during a two-month period, claiming refunds and keeping the money about 32 times for a total of nearly $608 stolen.

A Nov. 21 pretrial was set for David S. Corey, 30, Wintersville, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for an alleged pipe. He was ordered to pay costs only for loud exhaust.

A Nov. 21 pretrial was set for Stefany Jo Noling, 24, East Park Avenue, Columbiana, cited with possession or use of a controlled substance for an alleged partial marijuana cigarette.

Meghan Jaeger, 29, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, was fined $100 for wrongful entrustment.

Joseph D. Proudfoot, 33, Silliman Street, New Waterford, was released from jail and credited with all fines and costs paid for a harboring a barking dog charge from 2001.

A charge against Caleb D. Kountz, 19, Nicolaus Avenue, Wellsville, was dismissed without prejudice. Kountz was charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his live-in girlfriend, Abby Willis, on April 1, 2016.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Steven K. Metzger, 22, Paris, was fined $1,050, had his license suspended for a year, required 60 hours community service and sentenced to 20 days in jail for OVI second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia for a glass pipe and driving under suspension. A citation for failure to control was dismissed.

Michael D. Hughes, 22, River Street Northeast, Alliance, was fined $675, required to attend a three-day counseling program, had his license suspended for six months and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense. A marked lanes citation was dismissed.

Richelle L. Ameduri, 41, East Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $250, credited with a day in jail and sentenced to an additional 59 days in jail for theft for shoplifting items from the Salem Walmart on May 1 by paying for only some of the items in her cart. Additional theft charges for eight other instances where she allegedly paid for only some items in her cart in April were dismissed. The amount of the loss for those eight transactions was nearly $211.

Levi N. Gorby, 27, West Perry Street, Salem, was fined $280 and required 10 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension and improper backing.

Jacob A.C. Carter, 18, Buck Road, Beloit, was fined $200, required 40 hours community service, credited with nine days served in jail and sentenced to an additional 21 days for domestic violence for punching his mother, Cindy Masters, and throwing a pan at her head on Aug. 5.

Erich W. Henkel, 32, Countryside Drive, Salem, was fined $275 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and traffic control devices.

Jennifer D. Kane, 28, Bye Road, Rogers, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.

David C. Wells, 31, Church Hill Road, Lisbon, was fined $250 for failure to reinstate a license.

Kaylinde R. Stansbury, 34, North Jefferson Street, Lisbon, was fined $250, required 60 hours community service and sentenced to 20 days in jail for theft. Stansbury stole about $383 from the owner of Lock 24 while handling 16 transactions between July 3, 2015 and Oct. 27, 2015.

Joseph J. Pahanish, 22, state Route 644, Salineville, was fined $150, credited with two days served in jail and required 15 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for choking his sister, Monica Allison, during an argument at the home on April 16.

Amanda Lee Davis, 20, Wooster, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for a stop sign violation.

David James Mouse, 19, Densmore Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for speeding.

Daniel L. Shafer, 43, Fair Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 for use of an unauthorized plate.

James M. Shaffer, 58, State Street, New Waterford, was found guilty of speeding and a seat belt violation during trial to the court. Judge Mark Frost fined Shaffer $80 plus costs, but did not order him to pay the $850 cost of securing the testimony of expert Carl Fors, because it was determined Fors’ testimony was not necessary due to Shaffer being clocked in stationary mode instead of moving mode.

Tiffany E. Leyman, 36, North Street, Lisbon, was fined $50 for a violation of chapter, rules or conditions prohibited. The Department of Health indicated the sewage treatment system violation on Ridge Road, Salem, has now been abated.

Mary C. Blackmon, 32, East Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $30 for no front plate amended from a seat belt violation.

Earich, 29, Jefferson Street, Salineville, charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly throwing his mother, Amy Earich to the ground and grabbing his 15-year-old sister by the neck, choking her against the wall after she had come to her mother’s rescue on Monday.

A Sept. 1 pretrial was set for Larry W. Harris Jr., 41, state Route 172, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly harming Reva S. McCullough on June 13 by throwing her about the room by her hair, choking her, grabbing her wrist, hitting and squeezing her in the face, spitting on her and covering her mouth so she could not breathe.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, an Aug. 22 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Malik R. Pullie, 19, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with tampering with evidence, a felony charge for allegedly swallowing marijuana during a traffic stop on Friday. He was also cited with possession of marijuana and lane violations.

Brian J. Hutter, 37, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, was fined $1,150, had his license suspended for one year, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense, speeding and failure to reinstate a license. A domestic violence charge against Hutter was dismissed on a motion of the assistant prosecutor. He was accused of punching and kicking his girlfriend, Shannon Smith, on March 15.

Jack B. Black, 58, Lisbon Dungannon Road, Lisbon, was fined $780, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for six months and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, failure to control and a seat belt violation. An OVI refusal with prior within 20 years citation was dismissed.

Daniel L. Davis, 35, Park Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $200, credited with three days in jail and ordered 30 hours community service for domestic violence for punching Shawna Lewis in the head and striking their small child, whom she was holding at the time.

Tara Lynn Trimble, 24, Lynchburg Road, Kensington, was fined $150 for two counts of disorderly conduct amended from possession of drugs and possession of instruments to ingest/inhale a controlled substance.

Clemens had been accused of assaulting her husband, Ronnie Clemens on Sept. 4, 2014, at John and Helen’s Third Generation, an establishment where she had previously been told not to return.

Vishak is accused of burglarizing his mother’s home while she was vacationing in Florida. Vishak waived his right to a preliminary hearing on the charge.

An Aug. 16 pretrial was set for Tiffany E. Leyman, 36, North Street, Lisbon, cited with violation of chapter, rules or conditions prohibited, for allegedly failing to abide by a sewage repair or replacement order by the Board of Health on May 18 for a property at 1395 Ridge Road, Salem.

Shell is further accused for charging at McMillan with the tree branch, which was blocked by his arm.

Rogers, 54, Old state Route 344, Leetonia, cited with aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening a 17-year-old, Dakota Robinson, that he was going to come back to the house with a van filled with dynamite and blow it up on Aug. 3. Additionally, he allegedly told Robinson’s stepmother, Angel Robinson, he was going to blow up the pipeline behind a home where he used to live in on Woodville Road.

LISBON – Tracy L. Mattern, 45, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, pleaded no contest to several charges in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Wednesday morning, when she had a scheduled jury trial.

Mattern, who also goes by the last name Lemley, was fined $450 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for assault, disorderly conduct, persistent disorderly conduct and criminal damaging for destroying Hope Andrews’ vehicle windshield with a cinder block on Aug. 23, 2015. The other charges were for when she stabbed James Andrews Sr. in the leg with a knife on June 1, 2016 and struck Raymond Leonard in his ear and back of his head on March 17, 2016 while intoxicated.

She was also ordered to pay $2,657 in restitution for the vehicle. Additionally she was ordered to serve 60 days in jail for violating her probation on an earlier failure to comply charge.

Matthew P. Flowers, 36, Ravenna, was fined $150, credited with seven days in jail and required 30 hours community service for obstructing official business for bringing a bottle of urine to the court house, where there was also a warming device found on the floor of the holding cell.

Robin R. Stradtmiller, 50, East North Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $200, credited with a day served in jail and required 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for scratching John Kelly’s arms during a mutual fight between them on July 28. Kelly, 50, was also fined $200, credited with seven days in jail and required 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for causing bruising on Stradtmiller’s arms and neck.

John N. Schiffauer, 69, Boardman, was fined $350 for maximum axle load.

Patrick L. Griffith, 36, East Main Street, Salineville, was fined $280 and required 10 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license and a turn signal violation.

Isis Dayanara Ramos Montanez, 23, Struthers, was fined $280 for assured clear distance and driving under suspension.

Steven E. Barr Jr., 30, Darlington, Pa., was fined $250 and required 10 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license.

Demetria L. Burnell, 18, Canton, was fined $100 for no license.

Robert D. Fullerton, 47, Struthers, was fined $100 for speeding.

An Aug. 11 pretrial was set for Hayden S. Miller, 24, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument after police searching his mother’s vehicle with her permission allegedly found two hypodermic needles, a baggie with a red substance and another with a white substance, as well as a pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana and numerous clonazepam pills in his wallet.

A Sept. 13 pretrial was set for Roy O. Moffett III, 20, Union Ridge Road, Negley, cited with driving under suspension, lane violations, windshield violations and a seat belt violations.

A Sept. 19 pretrial was set for Bryan Michael Martin, 29, North Market Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI second offense and failure to control.

A Sept. 22 pretrial was set for Tonya M. Albaugh, 34, New Garden Avenue, Salem, cited with two counts of dogs failure to register.

A Sept. 22 pretrial was set for Shannon L. Cunning, 39, State Street, New Waterford, cited with driving under FRA suspension, use of unauthorized plate and failure to display a valid sticker.

A Sept. 26 pretrial was set for Shane M. Endicott, 26, East Pine Lake Road, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly submitting 122 false community service hours on July 11.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Travis L. Weese, 41, Walnut Street, Rogers, was bound over to the grand jury on a having weapons while under disability and cruelty to animals charge for allegedly shooting a kitten on July 25.

Merci H. Waller, 20, state Route 45, Salem, was fined $250, required 25 hours community service and credited with two days in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for striking Charles William Rhoads IV during an argument. Rhoads, 22, state Route 45, Salem, was fined $250, credited with two days served, sentenced to 13 additional days and required 25 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for biting and bruising Waller during the same dispute on July 17.

Jonathan J. Abbott, 29, West Eighth Street, Salem, was fined $100, credited with 11 days served and ordered 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for threatening to kill his mother Kim Madison multiple times and slamming her against a counter on July 15.

An Aug. 4 pretrial was set for George A. Kress, 49, Case Road, Beloit, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing April Faulkner from a vehicle causing her to land on her right shoulder and breaking her wrist on July 25.

Alcide Dagobert, 28, New Bedford, Mass., was fined $280 for no license and speeding.

Brittany N. Toothman, 29, Columbia Street, Leetonia, was fined $460, credited with two days in jail and required 60 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension, driving under suspension and two counts of failure to display a valid sticker.

An Aug. 8 pretrial was set for Jerry L. Malone II, 36, West Fifth Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking a snack cake and a bottle of pop from the Smith Oil in Lisbon on July 21.

Charles Alexander, 38, Mattix Road, Lisbon, was fined $50 and credited with three days in jail for public indecency for exposing himself and saying something vulgar to a child on June 19.

Jay Farrow, 38, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $50 and credited with seven days served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct for yelling profanities and refusing to listen to a worker at the Hornsby House on July 20.

Taylor A. Madison, 23, Summit Street, Salineville, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from failure to obey a traffic control device.

An Oct. 4 sentencing hearing was set for Timothy M. Tonkinson, 26, West Clark Street, East Palestine, who pleaded guilty to failure to confine dogs for his dog being out on April 20. A probation violation hearing was also scheduled at the same time for Tonkinson on past convictions of cruelty to animals and confinement/restraint of a dog. Tonkinson was fined $225 for driving under suspension.

An Oct. 3 pretrial was set for Patrick A. Faulk, 55, state Route 14, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and traffic control devices.

An Oct. 6 pretrial was set for Anthony Patrone, 44, Girard, cited with driving under suspension.

A charge of receiving stolen property against Stephen T. Westover, Clarkson Road, Rogers, was dismissed so it can be refiled in West Virginia. Westover is accused of having three Jonsured chain saws, a Stihl weedeater, a plasma cutter, a hand carry winch, a five-gallon gas can and a Lincoln Welder stolen from Dale Hickman, which were sold to Prestige Pawn on April 22. The pawn shop is located in West Virginia.

LISBON – An Aug. 8 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for George Mort, 42, Rose Drive, Lisbon, charged with assaulting a police officer for allegedly attacking Lisbon officer Fred Carlisle, punching him with both fists on the shoulders on Friday.

Wildie D. Hillman, 27, West Wayne Street, Alliance, was fined $900, had his license suspended for one year, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense and improper passing.

Gregory J. Golding, 58, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $700, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and a tail lights violation.

Paul R. Cowan, 66, state Route 46, New Waterford, was fined $300 and had his license suspended for three months for failure to control and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

Michael S. Heverly, 31, Bayard Street, Homeworth, was fined $350 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension, invalid sticker and failure to control. A hit skip citation was dismissed.

Roger L. Miller, 26, East Main Street, East Palestine, was fined $250, required 30 hours community service and credited with nine days served in jail with 21 days remaining to be served for domestic violence. Miller choked Kristen Miller, his estranged wife, on July 23.

Michelle D. McCarthy, 52, Tippecanoe, was fined $250, credited with three days served and required 30 hours community service for theft for shoplifting 16 items valued at $68 at the Salem Walmart on May 3.

William G. Wildman, 42, East Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $250 and required 60 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Steven P. Fender, 21, Shelby, Mont., was fined $250 and had his license to hunt in Ohio suspended for a year for failure to properly tag a harvested deer.

Marcus A. Bowersock, 26, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $280 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

Michael D. Myers, 44, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $100 for speeding.

A Aug. 15 pretrial was set for Gregory M. Freed, 44, state Route 14, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing an ax and asking his wife, Sheron Freed, if she wanted to die. He also reportedly swung nunchucks around and threatened to hit her with them.

A Sept. 13 pretrial was set for Anthony J. Cappola, 44, Struthers, charged with driving under OVI suspension and speeding.

A Sept. 13 pretrial was set for Daniel E. Pumphrey Jr., 38, Waterford Road, East Palestine, cited with criminal damaging for allegedly breaking and removing the HDMI cable from Bridget Coburn’s TV without her permission on Sunday.

A Sept. 20 pretrial was set for Cameron C. Hurst, 22, Bradshaw Avenue, East Liverpool, cited with physical control.

An Oct. 13 pretrial was set for Justin S. Madison, 34, West Main Street, Washingtonville, cited with operating an all purpose vehicle without proper lights and registration required.
