LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Feb. 20 for Timothy Reaggle, 19, Y & O Road, Wellsville, charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony, and misdemeanors of fleeing and eluding of a police officer and two counts of assault. A court trial also was set Feb. 20 for stop sign and left of center. Reaggle was accused of assaulting three people during an incident Feb. 14 in St. Clair Township, first allegedly headbutting a woman in the face after she told him to leave, then tackling and assaulting a man outside the residence when he was leaving. Another man reported that when Reaggle first came into the residence and began fighting with everyone, he held a knife to the man’s neck, threatening him. When responding, St. Clair Township police passed Reaggle’s vehicle and then attempted to make a traffic stop, with Reaggle allegedly fleeing and then eventually pulling over.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set March 27 for Cagney Allen Springer, 35, Penn Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with fifth-degree felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor theft for allegedly breaking into a property in East Liverpool on Jan. 16 and stealing a refrigerator and stove.
A pretrial was set Feb. 24 for William Barrett, 64, Sophia Street, East Liverpool, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly refusing to obey commands from members of the county Drug Task Force who were executing a search warrant at an East Liverpool property on Feb. 12.

A pretrial was set Feb. 24 for Dominic Hawk, 19, Homeworth Road, Alliance, charged with underage consumption, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. A court trial was also set Feb. 24 for a charge of reasonable control. When Salem police officers responded to West Pershing Street for an accident on Feb. 13, Hawk claimed to have no idea what happened and began kicking around and becoming disorderly and screaming foul language and refusing to comply when officers placed him in the cruiser. He allegedly continued to kick the door and attempted to get out of the cruiser. At the jail, he began resisting again and failing to comply.
Sentencing hearings were set April 29 for Thomas H. Covert, 71, and Kimberly Covert, 61, both Virginia Avenue, East Liverpool, who each pleaded no contest and were each found guilty of four counts of failure to file city income tax returns for failing to file East Liverpool city income tax returns from 2021 through 2024.
A pretrial was set April 8 for Mitchell Lacey, 61, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with four counts of failure to pay city income tax for allegedly failing to pay East Liverpool city income tax from 2021 through 2024.
A pretrial was set April 14 for Richard Woodyard, 47, Ephriam Street, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set May 1 for Ashley Harvey, 34, Birch Road, East Liverpool, charged with speeding.
Madison Nicholson, 20, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for speeding.
Daren Holshu, 28, East Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.
Sarah Gutherie, 32, Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $60 for driving under suspension and failure to display valid sticker.
Aiya Muhammad, 20, South 13th Street, Sebring, was fined $40 for driving under suspension and no seat belt.

Grand Jury
LISBON — A Rogers woman accused of conspiring with two others to bring drugs into the Columbiana County jail last fall was served Thursday with a secret indictment issued by the county grand jury.
Ashley Bable, 38, Pancake Clarkson Road, was charged with two counts of complicity in the commission of an offense, a third-degree felony, and fifth-degree felonies of two counts of complicity in the commission of an offense, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of heroin and two counts possession of drugs.
The indictment alleged that Bable and two others conspired and participated in a scheme to get narcotics into the jail and also conspired to obtain illegal narcotics to sneak into the jail on Sept. 12, 2024 and Sept. 13, 2024. On Sept. 13, 2024, Bable allegedly possessed methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, buprenorphine and xylazine.

LISBON — An East Liverpool man charged with possessing a large amount of cocaine and other drugs was sentenced to an indefinite term of four to six years in prison after entering guilty pleas recently in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
Richard M.J. Tittle, 34, Harvey Avenue, pleaded guilty to first-degree felony possession of cocaine, second-degree felony possession of fentanyl-related compound and two counts fifth-degree felony possession of drugs for possessing cocaine in an amount equal or greater than 27 grams but less than 100 grams, possessing an amount of fentanyl equal or greater than 10 grams but less than 20 grams and possessing tramadol and buprenorphine on Feb. 1, 2023.
Besides the four to six years in prison for the cocaine, he was sentenced to two to three years for the fentanyl and nine months each for the other two drug charges, but with all to be served at the same time. He was also given mandatory fines of $10,000 and $7,500 and received credit for 11 days already served in jail.

— Michael Lawler, 36, Cleveland, was sentenced to nine months in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony. He was given a mandatory fine of $5,000 and credit for 17 days served in jail. Lawler possessed methamphetamine in an amount equal or greater than bulk but less than five times bulk on Jan. 4, 2022.
— Valorie Hammond, 36, North Market Street, East Palestine, was sentenced to 10 months in prison for fifth-degree felony obstructing official business, a lesser included offense, and fifth-degree felonies of theft and possessing criminal tools, with credit for 162 days already served in jail. She was originally charged with third-degree felony escape. A misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business was dismissed. Hammond was accused of stealing $2,295 worth of merchandise from Dunham Sports in a duffle bag and trying to flee when police arrived on April 9, 2024 in Calcutta.
— Davon Moats, 22, East Fifth Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 24 months in prison for violating his probation for failure to provide notice of change of address, a third-degree felony, for failing to notify the sheriff’s office of a change of address on May 17, 2022 as required for sex offender registration. He received credit for 142 days already served. His probation was dishonorably terminated.
— Brandy Sanders, 28, Main Street, Washingtonville, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after violating her probation for fourth-degree felony attempted aggravated possession of drugs and fifth-degree felony possession of fentanyl-related compound. She received credit for 247 days served in jail. Sanders possessed fentanyl on Aug. 10, 2022. She had originally been charged with aggravated possession of drugs for possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 1, 2023.
— Henry Mills, 55, Duquesne Street, Columbiana, was sentenced to 15 months in prison for charges from two separate indictments, with nine months for third-degree felony illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a special governmental facility, and fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl-related compound and an additional six months for fourth-degree felony attempted tampering with evidence, fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl-related compound and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. The terms were ordered served consecutively, bringing the total to 15 months. He received credit for 17 days served. On Sept. 2, 2022, Mills possessed methamphetamine and fentanyl and attempted to take drugs into a detention facility. On Jan. 3, 2022, he possessed fentanyl, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and attempted to tamper with evidence.
— Elizabeth McCauley, 50, Newell, W.Va., pleaded no contest and was found guilty of a lesser offense of attempted possession of cocaine, a misdemeanor, with a specification for forfeiture of money in a drug case for possessing $340 and cocaine on Nov 4, 2018. She was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit for one day already served. The drug charge was originally a felony for possession of cocaine.
— Tommy Craven, 49, Youngstown, was placed under community control for one year after pleading guilty to nonsupport of dependents, a fifth-degree felony, for failing to pay child support from Aug. 29, 2021 to Aug. 27, 2023 for one child.
— Joseph Giralico, 40, Quay Road, Negley, was sentence to seven months in prison for possession of fentanyl-related compound and aggravated possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies, with credit for 28 days already served. Giralico possessed fentanyl on Feb. 17, 2022 and methamphetamine on Nov. 4, 2021.
— Robert Tanley Jr., 44, Amsterdam, was placed under community control for two years after pleading guilty to two counts of nonsupport of dependents, a fifth-degree felony, for failing to pay child support for two children from June 5, 2022 to June 2, 2024.
— Tristan Apinis, 39, Cleveland Street, Salem, was sentenced to nine months in prison and given a $5,000 fine after pleading guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, and possession of fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. Apinis received credit for 106 days already served in jail. Apinis possessed fentanyl and an amount of methamphetamine equal or greater than bulk but less than five times bulk on Sept. 20, 2022.
— Jessie Endicott, 42, Canton, was placed under community control for two years for theft, a fifth-degree felony, for stealing a caged utility trailer on Sept. 8, 2023.
— Leander Kirk, 43, Akron, was ordered to prison for 12 months after violating his probation for aggravated possession of drugs, a fourth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine on Dec. 19, 2019. Kirk received credit for 176 days served in jail.
