LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Abby Pierson, 31, Water Street, Salineville, were bound over to the county grand jury for fifth-degree felony assault and misdemeanors of operating a vehicle impaired refusal second offense, OVI second offense, falsification, criminal damaging and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge of driving under suspension was dismissed. She allegedly tried to bite several police officers and EMTs during an incident on Nov. 28, 2024 in Columbiana when she gave police a false name and attempted to kick the windows out and kicked the ceiling and attempted to break the seat belts after she was administered Narcan. Police had responded for a person passed out behind the wheel, learning the vehicle had been stolen.
A preliminary hearing was set May 19 for Benjamin Meyer, 23, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, charged with strangulation, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly using his hands to apply pressure to the neck of a 4-year-old child to impede breathing on Nov. 4, 2024 in East Liverpool.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set May 15 for Laurena Georgean Boso, 31, Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon, charged with third-degree felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanors of two counts of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle impaired first offense, left of center and tinted glass. Boso allegedly threw a glass pipe out of the vehicle window during a traffic stop on May 4 in Lisbon and also possessed a short green straw commonly used to snort/inhale paraphernalia. During a traffic stop on March 5 in St. Clair Township, she allegedly possessed a needle cap with a cotton ball and residue and a folded paper containing a pink powder suspected to be narcotics. She’s also facing a probation violation hearing and a status conference hearing on May 15 for possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly possessing a used syringe and drug paraphernalia with white residue inside on Sept. 16, 2024 in East Liverpool and for allegedly violating her probation for two cases from 2024 for drug paraphernalia and theft.
A preliminary hearing was set May 15 for Alan Heddleston, 19, Independence Square, Wellsville, charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly fleeing from police attempting a traffic stop in Salem on Oct. 4, 2024, traveling at high speeds with the pursuit ended in Lordstown due to unsafe conditions, with the driver and passenger later identified.
Cheyenne Elizabeth Weaver, 22, Warren, was fined $400 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 178 suspended and credit for two days served, for soliciting and possessing criminal tools. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and an online 12-hour prostitution prevention course. Weaver was accused of advertising on a known prostitution website offering sex for hire and arranging to meet an undercover agent for sexual activity in exchange for money, arriving in East Palestine on Nov. 23, 2024 for the meeting.
Jeremy Smith, 31, First Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 20 days suspended and credit for eight days served, leaving a balance of two days to serve for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and stay away from the victim. He was accused of grabbing a hammer and making a threat to beat a woman on April 27 in East Liverpool.
Lee Terry Knight, 29, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 165 days suspended and credit for 10 days served, leaving a balance of five days still to serve for domestic violence. A felony charge of inducing panic was dismissed. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and have no contact with the victim. Knight was accused of an incident in New Waterford on April 25 when he pushed another man to the ground and struck him multiple times in the head and was walking up and down Pinewood Drive yelling profanities and threatening to fight other people on the scene.
A pretrial was set May 22 for Douglas Pridemore, 55, Steubenville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly reaching into a parked vehicle and grabbing a woman in the back of her neck, then throwing a bottle at another woman who tried to stop him on May 5 in Elkrun Township.
Nicholas Weyand, 36, Dewey Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail for theft, with the jail term to be served at the same time as a current term. He was ordered to pay $100 to the victim. He stole $100 from a taxi driver’s wallet while the taxi driver stopped for fuel on Feb. 21, 2024 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set July 24 for Andrew Conner, 36, Alliance, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling at police officers and pedestrians after officers responded to a fight on May 3 in Salem, continuing to scream profanities after being warned by officers to stop.
Mark Seaman, 61, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $250 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for moving a woman’s car in a parking lot without her permission, claiming she was parked in his spot in the apartment complex in Perry Township on Feb. 12. The affidavit said both the woman and the defendant said there are no assigned parking spots in the lot.
Elisha Murphy, 41, Pickering Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from criminal trespass for trespassing on a Lisbon property after being told to remove the scaffolding and stay off of the property on June 19, 2024.
Richard Phillis II, 53, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $725 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 76 days suspended, leaving a balance of 14 days still to serve for OVI, obstructing official business and resisting arrest for fleeing from a stopped vehicle during a traffic stop and leading Salem police officers on a short foot chase on Feb. 18. After an officer grabbed him and ordered him to stop, he continued to try to run and pull away. He was ordered to complete 25 hours community service. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted.
A pretrial was set July 24 for John Deem, 33, Industry, Pa., charged with operating a vehicle impaired first offense.
A pretrial was set June 17 for Brianne Lou Trump, 33, Franklin Avenue, Salem, charged with driving under suspension and speeding.
Ashley Felger, 35, Echo Dell Road, Rogers, was fined $1,105 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI, no seat belt, reasonable control, driving under suspension and speeding. Her driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and she was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
Jason Chesser, 42, Canton, was fined $1,065 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served, for OVI. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and his driver’s license was suspended for one year.
Wyatt Rockhold, 19, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, was fined $300 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 27 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for brake lights and reckless operation amended from OVI. A charge of underage OVI was dismissed. His driver’s license was suspended for 180 days in jail, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
Lacey Riley, 32, Oak Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 for reckless operation.
Giavonne Francis, 46, Glenn Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and expired tag.
Anthony Barbero, 44, Poland, was fined $230 for driving under suspension, failure to control and no seat belt.
Gregory Moore, 61, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 for expired license and driving under suspension.
Ronni Delguzzo, 30, 10th Street, Wellsville, was fined $130 for no driver’s license and no seat belt.
Jessie Barcus, 28, Lacroft Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and expired registration.
Tammy Orr, 35, Shady Lane Drive, East Liverpool, was fined $75 for failure to reinstate.

LISBON — Nicholas Wolfe, 45, Eastlake Road, Lisbon, was served recently with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine on Oct. 29, 2024.
