LISBON — Joshua Gallimore, 37, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, recently entered a guilty plea in Columbiana County Court of Common Pleas for fourth-degree felony escape and fifth-degree felony violating a protection order. Gallimore allegedly ran from deputies after being handcuffed behind his back on a warrant for a felony protection order violation on April 5 in Madison Township. An affidavit from a deputy said Gallimore jumped down a steep embankment into a river with the handcuffs, with one deputy continuing after him and injuring his right knee. Gallimore ignored multiple commands to stop running. Felony-five obstructing official business and misdemeanor resisting arrest charges were dismissed. Gallimore faces sentencing on Aug. 7.
Also entering guilty pleas were:
— Mary K. Alt, 35, Rose Drive, Lisbon, for possession of fentanyl-related compound and possession of cocaine, both fifth-degree felonies, for allegedly possessing fentanyl and cocaine on Jan. 14. She will be entered July 16.
— Donald C. Fiore, 58, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, for third-degree felony domestic violence and fourth-degree felony strangulation for allegedly grabbing a woman by the neck and squeezing, then striking her, causing a laceration on her lip and red marks to her neck, then throwing her to the ground in Salem on Nov. 28, 2024. He will be sentenced on July 9.
Grand Jury
LISBON — April Carter, 45, Warren, was recently served a secret indictment by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for fourth-degree felony illegal possession of a drug document. According to the indictment, Carter allegedly did make, utter, sell or knowingly have in her possession a false or forged written order for percocet on or about Oct. 29, 2022 through Oct. 31, 2022.
