LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Jan. 7 for Dale Kenneth Lefebvre, 55, Wells Hollow Road, Wellsville, charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony, for allegedly grabbing a woman and throwing her at a coffee table after an argument, causing a deep cut to her forehead when her head hit the corner of the table on Jan. 1 in Yellow Creek Township.

A preliminary hearing was set Jan. 7 for Robert J. McLaughlin Jr., 65, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with fourth-degree felony domestic violence for allegedly shoving a woman in the chest after she attempted to break up a fight between him and another man on Jan. 1 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Jan. 7 for David Scott Lyon, 64, Bayard Road, Minerva, charged with assault for allegedly grabbing a man by the throat and physically assaulting him on Dec. 31 on Bayard Road, Minerva.

A pretrial was set March 9 for Crystal Gayle Pugh, 45, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly causing harm to a man who had multiple lumps on the back of his head and a small cut above his left eye caused by an unknown object when police arrived to a domestic call on Jan. 1 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set March 10 for Robert John Algaier, 72, Pittsburgh, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover familial ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with the women in exchange for $280, traveling to East Palestine on Thursday for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.

A pretrial was set March 9 for Cody Thomas Myers, 34, Warren, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover familial ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with the women in exchange for money, arriving in East Palestine on Dec. 31 with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.

A sentencing hearing was set Jan. 7 for Wayne K. Ayers Jr., 58, Murry Avenue, Minerva, who pleaded no contest for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Ayers was accused of being voluntarily intoxicated and acting in a disorderly manner at a property on North Cunningham Road, Salem, then was given a courtesy transport to an East Pershing Street, Salem where he continued to act disorderly and swore at police officers, then resisted arrest by refusing to put his hands behind his back and pulling his right arm under his body on Dec. 31.

A pretrial was set March 23 for Charity M. Todd, 25, Salem Unity Road, Salem, charged with operating a vehicle impaired second offense, driving under suspension and reasonable control.

Clemente Perez Perez, 20, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 and sentenced to three days in jail, with credit for three days already serving, leaving no time to serve for underage consumption.

A pretrial was set March 17 for Hayden D. Oliver, 18, Ninth Street, Wellsville, charged with failure to stop after an accident and reasonable control.

Bronson James Alazaus, 26, Carrollton, was fined $150 for a temporary permit violation.
