LISBON–A Salem woman was fined $150 for threatening a family member.
Angela Uy, 45, East Third Street, Salem was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for threatening violence against a family member twice while officers were investigating a report of Uy possibly assaulting a different family member while intoxicated on Dec. 31, 2024. A second charge of domestic violence was dismissed.
Nick Rossi, 64, Maple Avenue, Niceville, Florida, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended, 20 hours of community service, and fined $750 for engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for arranging to meet with an undercover officer from the Columbiana County Human Trafficking Task Force in Salem for sexual acts in exchange for $140 on Aug. 1, and possessing the cellular device which was used to arrange the criminal act at that time.
Christopher Barley, 63, Chestnut Boulevard, Cuyahoga Falls, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, and credit for three days served, 20 hours of community service, and fined $750 for engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for arranging to meet with an undercover officer from the Columbiana County Human Trafficking Task Force in East Palestine for sexual acts in exchange for $140 on Nov. 14 and possessing the cellular device which was used to arrange the criminal act at that time.
Colleen McCoy, 80, Van Buren Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for criminal trespass for entering a farm that she had been trespassed from on Jan. 18 and Jan. 24 in St. Clair Township despite being notified on Jan. 14 that if she entered the property again she would be charged with trespassing.
Ariel Durham, 37, Pass Lane, Lisbon, was sentenced to four days in jail, with credit for two days served and fined $150 for criminal damaging for kicking and punching a door, creating several large holes in the door in Lisbon on Oct. 7.
John Seddon III, 64, Aetna Street, Salem, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for attending a three-day driver intervention program, 25 hours of community service, and fined $1,075 for OVI.
Ryan Artman, 42, state Route 267, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for attending a three-day driver intervention program, 40 hours of community service, and fined $75 for physical control. A charge of OVI refusal with prior within 20 years was dismissed.
Jason Joy, 51, Lochness Circle, Canton, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for two days served and attending a three-day driver intervention program, 40 hours of community service, and fined $1,125 for OVI and expired registration.
Cory Strawn, 38, Scott Avenue, Niles, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for one day served and fined $350 for driving under suspension and a marked lanes violation.
Xueliun Lyu, 28, Fir Hil, Akron, was sentenced to five days in jail with five days suspended, 40 hours of community service, and fined $200 for speeding.
Fei Chen, 44, 150th Place, Flushing, New York, was fined $125 for a red light violation and driving while texting.
David Santiago Jr., 44, Chester Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $125 for speeding.
Deborah McMyler, 61, Humiston Drive, Bay Village, was fined $50 for equipment misuse, amended from speeding.
A pretrial was set Feb. 9, for Dillon Corfee, 25, Marcia Drive, Austintown, charged with obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly being seen sitting in front of a coffee table with dangerous felony drugs in plain view at a residence in Salem on Feb. 3, attempting to close the door on officer’s while they attempted to speak with wanted individuals who were seen fleeing further into the residence, failing to comply with officers’ orders to exit the residence at least six times, and while doing so moved toward a large knife and officers while stating “no, I’m going to the garage” and walking away from officers.
A pretrial was set Feb. 17 for Ashley Geer, 28, Plymouth Street, Hanoverton, charged with domestic violence for allegedly attacking a family member while intoxicated by kicking and striking him, causing several scratch marks on his right shoulder and a bruise on his right shoulder blade and punching another household member in the right eye causing bruising and swelling to their eyelid on Feb. 4.
A pretrial was set April 14, for Anthony Kozicky, 44, England Drive, East Palestine, charged with speeding.
A pretrial was set April 1 for Frank Spada, 68, Monument Road, Canton, charged with speeding.
A pre-trial was set April 6 for Abdo Allhabi, 48, Hazen Avenue, Ellwood City, Pennsylvania charged with a stop sign violation.
