Officers checked the area and spoke with the resident who advised they were the only one on the property and did not recognize the phone number. LISBON —A Pennsylvania woman accused of possessing psilocyn, a psychedelic drug, during a traffic stop on Sept. 3, 2023 lost her attempt to have the evidence suppressed. Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge Megan Bickerton denied the motion to suppress filed by counsel for Melissa J. Hill, 54, Enon Valley, finding the search of her vehicle was proper. Hill was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and tried to claim the search by a Columbiana police officer was unlawful. Sheriff Reports —A deputy at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday investigated a report of a suspicious man in the woods near the federal prison, FCI Elkton, waving down cars as they passed by. Contact was made with the man on the rear porch area of a residence on Scroggs Road, Lisbon and he was identified as Terry Lee Banks of Minnesota. Banks, 49, was taken into custody on a charge of criminal trespass and booked into the Columbiana County jail, with other potential charges pending.
