Sheriff Reports —A deputy at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday investigated a report of a suspicious man in the woods near the federal prison, FCI Elkton, waving down cars as they passed by. Contact was made with the man on the rear porch area of a residence on Scroggs Road, Lisbon and he was identified as Terry Lee Banks of Minnesota. Banks, 49, was taken into custody on a charge of criminal trespass and booked into the Columbiana County jail, with other potential charges pending. Sheriff Reports — Deputies responded to an East Main Street, New Waterford property after being dispatched at 12:14 a.m. Friday for a welfare check. Deputies spoke with the person, who was found to be in good health and decent living conditions. — Deputies were called at 9:03 a.m. Thursday to Glasgow Road, Wayne Township for a disturbance, finding the man causing the disturbance had some mental health issues and appeared to need assistance.
