M. Sue Baird

She was born July 24, 1931 in Youngstown, the daughter of Harry and Kathleen (Dimmerling) Barrett.

She was a homemaker and was employed for many years with General Electric working on the assembly line.

Her husband, James H Baird, whom she married Feb. 23, 1968, died on June 6, 1988.

Survivors include four sons, James W. (Betty) Baird of Pittsburgh, David C. (Jeanne) Baird of Iowa, Kenneth T. Baird of Texas and Steven J. (Jill) Baird of East Palestine; two daughters, Kathleen (Ralph) Cora of Campbell and Maureen Aratari (Ed Longbottom) of Leetonia; a sister, Mary DeCesare of Florida; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Baird; and a daughter, Gail Baird.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, 644 East Main St., East Palestine.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home Tuesday. Burial will take place at Allegheny Cemetery. www.oliver-linsley.com
