To the editor: In my years serving Wellsville, I’ve seen firsthand that strong families are the foundation of our town. As a former councilman and school board member, I understand parents’ unique challenges in raising children in today’s digital age. While the online world offers immense opportunities, it also presents significant risks that parents must navigate to protect their children. To the editor: As Mayor of the City of Salem, I want to thank the following citizens and organizations for their generous support and sponsorship, and for once again making this year’s fireworks display possible. To the editor: Governor Dewine made the rounds recently in his presumptive Santa Claus suit finally handing out the funds from the Appalachian Capital Fund … funds that have been sitting in Columbus for an inordinate amount of time. The Mahoning Valley Region which consisted of Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties was the last region in Ohio to find out what their booty might be. With the costs of gas, manufactured goods, and food increasing, we need to rely on our own oil, natural gas, and coal in order to drive down the costs for consumers.
