NEGLEY — Dave Masters’ round of 39 sparked the Columbiana golf team to a 170-217 win over East Palestine at the East Palestine Country Club on Thursday.
Trenton Hall added a 40, Ollie Cuff 45 and Nick Klindworth 46 as the Clippers improved to 12-4 on the season.
For the Bulldogs, Luke Kinkead shot a 45, Hunter Hupp 56, Kayla Bland 57 and Alivia Magness 59.
Columbiana will host Springfield Local on Tuesday.
Crestview 179, Newton Falls 212
NEWTON FALLS — Derek Duvall shot a 40 in leading Crestview past Newton Falls, 179-212, Thursday at Riverview Golf Course.
Grant Snyder followed with a 45, Braydon Gilbert 46 and Caleb Booth 48.
For Newton Falls, Bracin Clutter had a 50, Aiden McCausland 52 and Noah Lane and Landon Hall each had 55s.
Crestview returns to Riverview on Monday to play LaBrae.
Minerva 167, Marlington 193
PARIS — The Minerva girls finished off a perfect Eastern Buckeye Conference regular season Thursday with a 167-193 win over Marlington at Great Trail Golf Course.
Freshman Emery Sell led the Lions with a career-best round of 36. Delaney Sell followed with a 41. Peyton Beaumariage and Mady Bartley had 45s.,
Madalynn Misch led the Dukes with a 41.
Minerva improves to 15-0 overall and 8-0 in the EBC. The Lions will close out the regular season Monday at Rootstown.
