Mr. James and Mrs. Carolyn Thorne of Negley are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Ann Thorne, to Michael David Buchanan, the son of Mrs. Toni L. Whitla (Jim) and Mr. James Buchanan of East Liverpool.

The bride to be is a graduate of Southern Local High School and a graduate of Kent State University with an Associate and Bachelor degree in Computers. She is currently working at East Liverpool City Hospital as a clerk for the past 17 years.

The groom to be is a graduate of Wellsville High School and graduate of college with an Associate Degree in Computers. He is a veteran Infantryman of the United States Army. He is currently working as a lodge secretary of the Wellsville Elks 1040.

A fall wedding is planned for this year 2022.
