The city’s new Animal Control Officer Sara Oaks, left, was administered her oath of office Tuesday by Mayor Cyndi Baronzzi Dickey. Oaks is the first to fill the Animal Control Officer position which was officially created as part of a suite of updates to the city’s animal ordinance approved by city council in July.
