Box truck accident closes Route 45 Thursday morning

SALEM — Both lanes of state Route 45 from Somerset Drive in Perry Township to state Route 558/Teegarden Road in Salem Township were closed for a short time Thursday morning after a northbound box truck overturned. Columbiana resident asks city to have traffic light installed

COLUMBIANA — A Springfield Road resident is asking the city to have a traffic light installed at the state Route 14 and Springfield Road intersection. Carol Friedman said that traffic has gotten worse there since the development of the area, with the Dollar Tree and Tractor Supply stores bringing in more traffic. “It’s like a three ring circus down there.
